PLAN: Pray; Listen; Always (with Him) Now
Proverbs 16:3 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Commit your Work To The Lord, And your PLANS Will Be Established."....
Happy New Year! As we welcome in 2017, we already know This Will Be a Year of Changes. I would be bold and presume that a vast majority of us have made New Year Resolutions, and/or in some way we've begun to PLAN out 2017 as it begins to unfold.
Our Lord Jesus, One to Ever Pose the Most poignant of Questions Asks....(Luke 14:28 {ESV/emphasis added/jaj})...."For which of you, desiring to build a tower, Does Not First sit down And Count The Cost, whether he has enough to complete it?"....
And God The Father is Indeed One Who Does Practice What He Preaches/Teaches....Just look at Genesis Chapters 1 and 2 - The Holy Spirit, via His Inspired WORD to Moses, Records how God The Father's PLAN for Creation takes place. God's PLAN clearly follows a logical progression of building-blocks completing with His Creation of us, mankind, with a 100% Provision of All His Creations Needs to Live In Relationship With HIM.
Of course we boofed the First Round by our employing our Freedom of Choice to choose poorly the way of disobedience.
BUT Praise God, HE Already Had His PLAN in PLACE, and HE Knew The Cost of HIS PLAN of Salvation/Reconciliation for us. Checked it out....
Philippians 2:5-11(ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Have This Mind among yourselves, Which IS yours IN Christ Jesus, Who, Though He Was In The Form Of God, Did NOT Count Equality With God A Thing To Be Grasped, BUT Emptied Himself, By Taking the form of a Servant, Being Born in the likeness of men. And Being Found in human form, He Humbled Himself By Becoming OBEDIENT To The Point Of Death, Even Death on A Cross. THEREFORE God Has Highly EXALTED Him And Bestowed On Him The NAME That Is Above every name, So That At The NAME Of Jesus Every knee should bow, In Heaven And on earth And under the earth, And Every tongue Confess That Jesus Christ IS Lord, To The Glory Of God The Father."....
So.....as we start our New Year/2017, my Prayer for us would be to Make This First Connection with God The Father, via His Son, our Lord Jesus and His Holy Spirit Within us. May our PLANs be Lifted Up to Him Based on our Prayers; our Listening To Him; and our understanding we are Always with Him NOW in All we Do, Say and Think. Lord Jesus, we Surrender Fully to You. Come, Lord Jesus, Come! In Your Holy Name we Raise our Prayers and Praise....Amen and Amen....jaj
