WAY: Where Are You?
Genesis 3:9 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."BUT The Lord God Called To the man And Said To him, 'Where are you?'”....
Isn't it interesting that the first recorded Question from God to us is, "Where are you?"
If you aren't familiar with The Biblical Account of our Fall From God's Grace - Check out Genesis Chapter 3, it's all right there. Suffice to say, for today, mankind employed God's Gift of our Freedom of Choice to choose the wrong WAY for us to go. And not just once.....
Genesis 6:12 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...." And God Saw the earth, And Behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their WAY on the earth.".....
Once we started down the vector of sinfulness, we all became contaminated by the passed-along trait..... Romans 3:23-24 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."For ALL have sinned And fall short Of The Glory Of God....
....And Are Justified By His GRACE As A Gift, THROUGH The Redemption That Is IN Christ Jesus,"....
BUT, as The Holy Spirit Notes and Encourages us in Romans 3:24, There Is HOPE for us. Our Lord Jesus Shares with us, as Recorded by Matthew (7:13-14{ESV/emphasis added/jaj}.... “Enter By The Narrow Gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For The Gate Is Narrow And The WAY Is Hard That Leads To LIFE, And those who Find IT are few."....
Now those of His Household Of HOPE, you Know and Have Found The Narrow Gate....Those who do not yet Know.....Permit me to Share just one more POWS from our Lord Jesus....
John 10:7-9 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."So Jesus Again Said to them, 'Truly, Truly, I Say To you, I Am The Door (Gate) of the sheep. ALL who came before Me are thieves and robbers, BUT the sheep Did NOT Listen to them. I Am The Door (Gate). IF anyone Enters By Me, he Will Be Saved And Will Go In And Out And Find Pasture."....
Thus, IF you already have Entered By Him, The Door, Then, Indeed, we are on the Journey of The Narrow WAY. If you have not yet Come To The Door, Friends, There Is Still Time and The Door Still Stands Open....Please Consider Comin' On In.....
My PJP2 Prelude Prayer for us today would be a Paraphrase of Prayer and Praise from His Holy Spirit's Inspired WORD as Recorded in Psalm 77:12-15, 19-20 (ESV/emphasis & paraphrase added/jaj)....O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, we Will Ponder and Praise You For ALL Your Work. Lord Jesus, Moment by Moment we Meditate On Your Mighty Deeds. Holy Spirit, Help us to Follow In Your WAY. Father God, our God, You and You Alone Are Holy. Lord Jesus, Indeed, What god is Great Like You, O Lord, our God? Holy Spirit, we Praise You and Proclaim Boldly that You Are The God Who Works Wonders! Father God, Help us Remember and Reflect That You Have Made Known Your Might Among us in the Past, our Present, and Assured Promises in our Future. Lord Jesus, By Your Awesome Arm You Have Redeemed us. Holy Spirit, Even Though Yours WAY Was Through The Sea, and Your Path Through The Great Waters; Yet to us Your Footprints Remain Unseen. Father God, As You Have in Days of Old, Please Continue to Lead us, Your Adopted children, Like A Flock By Your Hand. Lord Jesus, we Raise Up our Prayers and Worship in Your Precious Name....Amen and Amen....jaj
