FRIENDS: Fellow Redeemed (by) Immanuel's Engagement, Now Devoted (to our) Savior

Proverbs 17:9 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Whoever Covers An offense SEEKS LOVE, BUT he who repeats a matter separates close FRIENDS."....

I have read Proverbs17:9 many times, and, until today, I've generally had the thought, "Yep, that makes sense."

Well, The Holy Spirit Pinged me this morning with a new thought, at least it is a new thought for me.....Consider with me....."Whoever Covers An offense SEEKS LOVE".....

He Just brought an Image into my noggin' of our Lord Jesus, His LIFE, His SACRIFICE (Covering our offense of sin) and His RESURRECTION - all of Which Combined as God The Father, THROUGH His Son and His Holy Spirit, IS SEEKING our LOVE for Him BY Expressing His LOVE for us.

On the other end you have the forces of darkness attempting to separate us From God's LOVE by continuous 'repeating' that we are not worthy of God's LOVE due to our willful disobedience.

BUT (Behold the Underlying TRUTH)....Go Back to the Beginning of Proverbs 17:9....WHOEVER Covers An offense SEEKS LOVE.....Our Lord Jesus COVERS our every offense as He SEEKS our LOVE BY SHARING God's Ultimate GIFT to us Of HIS LOVE for us.

Now THAT Is A WORD of Encouragement AND Builds us Up Know our Lord Jesus Reconciles us, Atones for us and Restores us to His LOVE.

Thus my PJP2 Prelude Prayer for us today would simply be - Lord Jesus, Thank You for Covering our offenses By You LIFE, SACRIFICE and RESURRECTION.  Holy Spirit, Transform us and our Lives that we May Ever Reflect Your TRUTH within us.  Father God, we Worship and Praise You for Your GIFT of Salvation via Your Son, our Lord Jesus.  In Your Holy Name, Lord Jesus, we Lift Up our Praise and Prayers.....Amen and Amen....jaj
