PJP2 PROLOG - 161222 - PROLOG Focus: John 16:12-15........JESUS (Entry 3 - S) - Psalm 103:1 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Bless The Lord, O my SOUL, And ALL That Is Within me, Bless His Holy Name!".... PJP2 PROLOG POST - 161222 - JESUS (Entry 3 - S) - John 16:12-15 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Jesus Said to His disciples, 'I Still Have Many Things To Say to you, BUT you Cannot Bear Them Now. When The Spirit Of Truth Comes, He Will Guide you Into ALL The Truth, For He Will NOT Speak On His Own Authority, BUT Whatever He Hears He Will Speak, And He Will Declare To you The Things That Are To Come. He Will Glorify Me, For He Will Take What Is Mine And Declare It To you. ALL That The Father Has Is Mine; Therefore I Said That He Will Take What Is Mine And Declare It To you.'".... I have Shared before that, at times, Reading God's WORD is somewhat like being a Gold Prospector. As we 'prospect' through the 'Depths' of 'the caverns' in God's WORD, you simply know you Will 'Strike GOLD', just not sure how much....and.....you will almost invariably find every MORE GOLD in a POWS that you have already unpacked.....almost Like The Lord planted additional GOLD in the previous POWS while you weren't looking there. Today's PJP2 PROLOG 161222 POWS (John 16:12-15) sheds some light on this concept.....I mean The Lord Jesus Shares with His disciples (and I Believe this Applies to us today as well) That There's Concepts He Will Provide us, BUT, Through His Holy Spirit, When The Spirit Knows we're Ready for Them. One of the Concepts I've Sensed He's Been Laying on my Heart, especially during Advent 2016, is this Concept of our Lord Jesus' LIFE Continuum....Meaning our Lord Jesus' "LIFE Timeline" goes along something like this.... Creator....Caretaker.....Cradle.....Caregiver.....Crucified.....Conquering King....Come-Again Yet, for all so long, I got distracted by His Being The Baby Jesus, not really Considering that our Lord Jesus IS ALL of those 7 items mentioned above (and MORE). This Year His Holy Spirit has Introduced me to the Thought that His Story didn't Begin At the Manger, nor, indeed, does His Story End at His Cross. His Story, The Gospel of our Lord Jesus that we are Charged to Share and Reflect, Goes Well Beyond His First Advent Among us. Wow. So, my PJP2 PROLOG 161222 Prayer for us today would simply be - O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You for Your Story of Creation, Love, Mercy and Everlasting GRACE. Lord Jesus, Continue to Open our Inner Eyes that we May See, Believe and Share ALL of Your Story. Holy Spirit, As our Lord Jesus' Promises, As His Spirit of TRUTH, Teach us In Your Ways. Father God, May our Lives Be Your Reflection, Drawing all those who do Not Yet Know You to Your Saving GRACE. Lord Jesus, In Your Holy Name we Lift Up our Prayers....Amen and Amen....jaj
