PJP2 PROLOG POST - 161220 - JESUS (Entry 1 - J) - Romans 4:16-25 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."That Is Why IT Depends On FAITH, In Order That The PROMISE May Rest On GRACE And Be Guaranteed To ALL his offspring—not only to the Adherent of The Law BUT Also to the one who Shares The FAITH of Abraham, who is the father of us all, As It Is Written, 'I (YAHWEH) Have Made you the father of many nations'—In The Presence Of The God In Whom he Believed, Who Gives LIFE to the dead And Calls Into Existence The Things That Do NOT Exist. In HOPE he Believed against HOPE, That he should become the father of many nations, As he Had Been Told, 'So shall your offspring be.' He Did NOT weaken in FAITH when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, Or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah's womb. NO unbelief made him waver Concerning The PROMISE Of God, BUT he Grew Strong In his FAITH as he Gave Glory To God, Fully Convinced That God Was Able To DO What He Had PROMISED. That Is Why his FAITH was 'Counted to him As Righteousness.' BUT The WORDs 'IT Was Counted to him' Were NOT Written For his Sake alone, BUT For ours Also. IT Will Be Counted To us who BELIEVE IN Him Who Raised From The Dead Jesus our Lord, Who Was Delivered Up For our trespasses And Raised For our JUSTIFICATION.".... Today's PJP2 PROLOG 161220 is one that God's WORD, Shared with Paul by God's Holy Spirit lays God's PLAN for our Salvation All Out in a very straightforward format..... Bottom-Line/Up-Front (BLUF): FAITH.....The PROMISE.....GRACE When we Have FAITH (FAITH Like Abrahams - who TRUSTED That YAHWEH, Who'd Called him to TRUST AND GO) In God's PROMISE (Of Reconciliation, Redemption, Restoration).....All Resting on God's GRACE as Revealed Via His Only Son, our Lord Jesus, His Life Among us and His Sacrifice For us, and His Resurrection which JUSTIFIED us In God's Eyes Of LOVE. There you have it. My Prayer for us today would be, as we Pause and Ponder on this 5th Day Prior to Celebrating His First Noel with us - O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, May Your JOY of LOVE, LIGHT, MERCY and GRACE Shine In, Around and Through us to All Your children. Lord Jesus, May Your Sacrifice And Resurrection Continue to Draw those who have Not Yet Come To You as Lord and Savior. Father God, we Thank You for Your Plan of Justification of us via Your Son, our Lord Jesus. Holy Spirit, Continue to Teach us and Strengthen our FAITH by Your WORD and Guidance.
