PJP2 PROLOG POST - 161213 - B-SCAB (A 2-FER) - Acts 1:6-8 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj).... "So when they had come together, they asked Him, “Lord, Will You at this time Restore The Kingdom to Israel?” Jesus Said to them, “It Is NOT for you To Know Times Or Seasons That The Father Has Fixed By HIS Own Authority. BUT you Will Receive Power When The Holy Spirit Has Come Upon you, And you Will Be My Witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.'”.... B-SCAB - Interesting thought - in some ways our Lord Jesus is 'commissioning' us to Be His SCAB to our lost world. Not that we are the ones Healing them - No, our Lord Jesus, His Holy Spirit, and God The Father - Salvation comes through our Belief and Faith in Him and Him Alone. No, as His SCAB, we Provide His Layer of Presence to our world. James 1:22-25 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."BUT Be Doers Of The WORD, And Not Hearers Only, deceiving yourselves. For IF anyone Is A Hearer Of The WORD And NOT A Doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. BUT the one who Looks Into The Perfect Law, The Law Of Liberty, And Perseveres, Being No Hearer who forgets BUT A Doer Who ACTS, He Will Be BLESSED In his Doing.'.... Indeed one of my Favorite POWS....Be DOERS Of The WORD.....Oh indeed it may sound easy, but far, far from it. Praise The Lord Jesus, Though, For He Does, via His WORD and His LIFE Among us and Within us (By His Holy Spirit's Presence) - He has Given us a Leg-Up on being able to Do Just That..... 1 Peter 3:9 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Do NOT Repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, BUT On The Contrary, BLESS, For To This you Were Called, That you May Obtain A BLESSING.".... Consistently throughout God's WORD to us, He Reflects This TRUTH and CONCEPT....HE BLESSES us that we May Be HIS BLESSING to others. I mean we could spend the next year (or even more) LISTING His saints Throughout The WORD that He Reflects and Reveals This TRUTH.....Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Israel, Joseph, Moses, Gideon, Jesus....I know, as well, we could begin to Share Names of Folks God The Father Has Continued to Reveal.... Suffice to say today....Being a B-SCAB for our Lord is NOT that Bad of a Mission. Let me conclude today's PJP2s with this short Prayer.....O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, as we Pause to Raise our Praise to You, Thank You For Your Saving GRACE. Lord Jesus, Guide us as we Surrender our All to Follow You. Holy Spirit, Empower and Encourage us to Ever Reflect Your Steadfast LOVE. Father God, Embolden us to Share Your Gospel of GRACE and Forgiveness as a LIGHT to our lost world. In Your Holy Name, Lord Jesus, we Raise our Prayers and Praise....Amen and Amen....jaj
