For The Lord Has Comforted His people And Will Have Compassion on His afflicted.".... PJP2 PROLOG POST - 161209 - MANGER - Ezekiel 34:16 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."YAHWEH Said to Ezekiel, His Prophet, 'I Will Seek the lost, And I Will Bring Back the strayed, And I Will Bind Up the injured, And I Will Strengthen the weak, and the fat and the strong I Will destroy. I Will Feed Them In JUSTICE.'"..... It is indeed fascinating that God The Father's Plan of Redemption begins via the Humble Surroundings we find in our Lord Jesus' First Advent. I am quite certain had I been writing His Script, starting our Lord Jesus' Gospel via the Virgin's Birth; Born In A Barn; Laid in a Feeing Trough; Visited by stinky shepherds and weird/wired astrologers (Magi) would probably not been the tack I would have taken. Like the majority of the Messiah Watchers, I'm pretty sure I'd have been thinking God The Father's Introduction to His Messiah, His Savior of mankind would have involved a Palace, the Presence of A Mighty Army, ready to Press and Pulverize the oppressors in God's Holy Land. Much like The COMMANDER of GOD'S ARMY Who Appeared to Joshua (check out Joshua 5:13-15) would have simply Appeared, and The VICTORY Announced! BUT (BEHOLD the Underlying TRUTH)....Isaiah 55:8-9 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."'For MY THOUGHTS Are NOT your thoughts, Neither are your ways MY WAYS', Declares The Lord. 'For As The Heavens Are Higher than the earth, SO Are MY WAYS Higher Than your ways And MY THOUGHTS Than your thoughts."...... Praise God, For He Is GOOD! So, once more, God The Father Comes to us via the Unexpected, the 'Way Less Traveled', in fact The Super-Natural, The Extraordinary Path....which, IF we've Come To Know Anything About God The Father....THAT would Be The Ultimate Bottom-Line/Up-Front (BLUF).... 1 Kings 19:11-12 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."And YAHWEH Said to His Prophet Elijah, 'GO Out And Stand On The Mount Before The Lord.' And BEHOLD, The Lord Passed By, And A Great And Strong Wind Tore the mountains And broke in pieces the rocks Before The Lord, BUT The Lord Was NOT In The Wind. And After The Wind An Earthquake, BUT The Lord Was NOT In The Earthquake. And After The Earthquake A Fire, BUT The Lord Was NOT In The Fire. And After The Fire The Sound Of A Low Whisper/A Still Small Voice.".... Indeed, God The Father CAN, if Need Be, Capture our Attention via His Thunder and Lightning, or by His Dividing A Sea that we may Cross on Dry Land, or By A Still Small Voice, or By The Cry of A Baby In A MANGER, or the Dying Gasp of A Savior On His Cross. My Prayer for us today would only be.....O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Open our Inner Ear that we May Ever Hear and Obey Your Still Small Voice Leading us to You and Your Way. In Your Holy Name, Lord Jesus, we Lift Up our Prayers....Amen and Amen....jaj
