PJP2 PROLOG POST - 161208 - CHILD - John 1:9-13 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."The True LIGHT, Which Gives LIGHT To everyone, Was Coming Into the world. HE Was IN the world, And the world Was Made Through HIM, YET the world Did NOT Know HIM. He Came To HIS Own, And HIS Own people Did NOT Receive HIM. BUT To all who Did Receive HIM, who BELIEVED In HIS Name, HE Gave The Right To Become CHILDren Of God, who Were Born, NOT of blood NOR of the will of the flesh NOR of the will of man, BUT Of God.".... There is indeed something about a New Born CHILD that simply captures us. Be it their freshness/newness, their trusting-nature, or perhaps it is when a CHILD smiles at us, our hearts just melt. I know when Gen J and I had started dating, one God's Signs of GRACE within our relationship was her two daughters, Carmen and Ronda. I can remember well that those two beautiful youngsters stole my heart. I can readily see and understand how God The Father's Plan of Salvation would Revolve Around His Son, our Lord Jesus, Winning our Hearts for God by His GRACE beginning as God's SON of Man. BUT God The Father Doesn't Stop at our Just Accepting His SON as our Savior. Nope - In Only His Miraculous Way, God The Father Makes it Possible for us to "Be BORN Again", Becoming His Adopted children BY our Lord Jesus' Life, Sacrifice, Resurrection AND In-Dwelling of His Holy Spirit.... Don't take my word for it.....Hear Him instead.... John 3:3, 5-8 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Jesus answered Nicodemus, 'Truly, Truly, I Say To you, Unless one IS BORN Again he Cannot See The Kingdom Of God.'".....Jesus Answered, “Truly, Truly, I Say To you, Unless one IS BORN Of Water And The Spirit, he Cannot Enter The Kingdom Of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, And That Which Is BORN Of The Spirit IS Spirit. Do Not marvel That I Said to you, ‘You Must Be BORN Again.’ The Wind Blows Where It Wishes, and you Hear Its sound, BUT you Do Not Know Where It Comes From or Where It Goes. SO It Is With everyone who Is BORN Of The Spirit.'”.... So, Team, as we Celebrate our Lord's First Advent this year, Let's Be Open to God The Father's CHILD and His Impact on us as God's Adopted children Through HIM. My Prayer for us today - O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You for Your Amazing Gift of GRACE. Lord Jesus, Open our Inner Hearts that we too May Reflect Your Light and Life as Your Adopted children. Holy Spirit, as You Dwell Within us, May we Share Your GRACE especially to those who Do Not Know You. Father God, Empower and Encourage us to Ever Walk With You as Your children of Your Son. Lord Jesus, In Your Holy Name we Lift Up our Prayers and Praise....Amen and Amen....jaj
