PJP2 PROLOG POST - 161203 - HISTORY - Psalm 65:5 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."By Awesome Deeds You Answer us With Righteousness, O God of our Salvation, The HOPE of All The Ends of the earth And Of the farthest seas;".... I don't know how many remember Rod Serling's "Twilight Zone" - interesting show to say the least. I can hear him saying, "Consider if you will".....So, I'd suspect some are wondering if this PJP2 PROLOG 161203 is going to go down some wild rabbit hole....be at ease.....ain't the plan.... BUT, I would borrow the TZ's phrase for today.....Consider with me if you will..... HISTORY is a Door.....What's happened in the past could well provide us clear clues on what's due to happen both today and in the future.....Also, in God The Father's Hands, HISTORY, as His Holy Spirit Shares via His Inspired WORD to God's Prophet Hosea..... Hosea 2:15 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."YAHWEH Said to Hosea, 'And There I Will Give her her Vineyards And Make the Valley of Achor A DOOR OF HOPE. And there she shall answer as in the days of her youth, as at the time when she came out of the land of Egypt." A DOOR OF HOPE....That's the Thought I Hear The Holy Spirit Asking me to Consider with Him.... A DOOR OF HOPE..... Not, do NOT hear what I am NOT saying....Not at all saying that HISTORY, as A DOOR OF HOPE will always be Revealed via pleasant and kind events. In fact we know all too well that man's history is filled with tragedies, sufferings, and down right nastiness all through. BUT, what I am saying is that all of HISTORY, in God's Hands and His AWESOME DEEDS, even through man's self-made mismanagement....His DOOR OF HOPE continues to appear for us....Again, Consider with me, if you will, our Lord Jesus Own WORD on God's DOOR OF HOPE..... John 10:7-11 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."So Jesus again Said to them, 'Truly, truly, I Say to you, I AM The DOOR of the sheep. ALL who came before me are thieves and robbers, BUT the sheep Did Not Listen to them. I AM The DOOR. If anyone Enters By ME, he Will Be SAVED And Will go in and out And Find Pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I Came That they May Have LIFE And Have IT Abundantly. I AM The Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd Lays Down HIS LIFE For the sheep.".... So, Crew, There You Have it.....God The Father's DOOR OF HOPE is None Other Than our Lord Jesus. And, Praise God, HIS DOOR OF HOPE Still Stands Open for us.........Come on Through....Please..... My PJP2 PROLOG 161203 for today would be a Paraphrase of Prayer and Praise based on His Holy Spirit's Inspired WORD as Recorded in Psalm 33:16-22 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)....O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You For Your DOOR OF HOPE. Help us, Lord, To Be of Your Family Of FAITH who have Entered Through Your Son, our Lord Jesus. Holy Spirit, we Know that we are not Saved by a great army of man. Father God, there is no human warrior that can be Delivered by their own great strength. Lord Jesus, Remind us that there is no war horse, or earthly power we can rely upon, that is a false human hope for Your Salvation. Holy Spirit, Teach us Your TRUTH! Help us to grasp that there is No great manly-might that can rescue us from our sins. Lord Jesus, BEHOLD, Your Eye, O Lord, Is Upon those who Faithfully Esteem, Adore and Respect You as our Lord and Savior. Holy Spirit, Encourage and Empower us to SHARE our HOPE is In Your Steadfast and Eternal LOVE. Father God, Give us Your WORD to SHARE Your Story of LOVE for us. Lord Jesus, Help us to Both Live and Tell of How Your LIFE, Sacrifice and Resurrection Delivers our Souls From death. Holy Spirit, May we Reflect Your GRACE and That Your Indwelling Keeps us ALIVE even in the face of Spiritual 'famine' which is rampant in our world today. Father God, our Souls WAIT for You O Lord. Lord Jesus, we Praise You for You Are our Help. Holy Spirit, we Thank You for You Are our Shield. Father God, By Your GRACE, our Hearts Are Glad In Your Son, our Lord Jesus, Because we TRUST In Your Holy NAME. Lord Jesus, May Your Steadfast/Eternal LOVE, O Lord, Ever Be Upon us, Even As we HOPE In You.
