PJP2 “7 PRAISES” - 161224 - JESUS (Entry 5 - S) Entry 5 - S: SON....Surrender....Savior....Sire In less than 24-hours, Christmas Day 2016 will arrive. Every year I'm enthralled by the build up to our Celebration of our Lord Jesus' First Advent, His First Noel. Every year the Sense of Excitement and Expectation challenges my ability to be calm and WAIT..... WAIT....something I do NOT do very well at all. Yet....here we are, as we also now WAIT for His Second Advent, discovering our Lord's Expectation of us is to WAIT for His Perfect Timing....And, thus, His Holy Spirit Shines His Inspiration for us to see and proclaim.... Genesis 49:18 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."I WAIT For Your Salvation, O Lord.".... Now As we WAIT, Praise God, He Is Also Providing us Encouragement By His Own WORD and WORK within, around and through us.....In His Story, He Shares with us His Own SON; Which Leads us to Surrender (Repent) of our own selfishness and sin...AS we Grasp That we NEED Him As our SAVIOR; Finally, then, 'On That Day' when God The Father Brings to a Final Conclusion Time as we know it, we will, at last, His SON, our Lord Jesus, Will Be Revealed His (and our) KING of kings and LORD of lords. Holy Spirit, Open our Inner Heart, Soul and Mind to Your WORD..... SON: Matthew 17:5 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Peter was still speaking When, BEHOLD, A Bright Cloud Overshadowed them, And A Voice From The Cloud Said, 'THIS Is My BELOVED SON, With Whom I AM Well Pleased; Listen To HIM.'” SURRENDER (REPENT): Acts 2:37-39 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Now when they heard This they were cut to the Heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, 'Brothers, What Shall we Do?' And Peter said to them, 'REPENT and Be Baptized every one of you In The NAME Of Jesus Christ For The Forgiveness of your sins, And you Will Receive The GIFT Of The Holy Spirit. For The PROMISE IS For you And For your children AND For ALL who are far off, Everyone whom The Lord our God Calls To Himself.'”.... SAVIOR: Luke 2:10-11 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."And The Angel Said to them, 'Fear NOT, For BEHOLD, I Bring you Good News Of Great JOY That Will Be For ALL the people. For Unto you Is Born This Day in the city of David A SAVIOR, WHO IS Christ The Lord.'".... SIRE (KING): Revelation 19:16(ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."On HIS Robe And On HIS Thigh HS Has A NAME Written, 'KING of kings And LORD of lords'".... Wow, what Awesome and Amazing GIFTS to find under our CHRISTmas Tree this year! And God The Father's Free Gift to us is Still Waiting All.....He Has Not withdrawn Them....no matter how distracted by our own tendency to fall and transgress His Way, He Is Still Standing, Arms Open Wide, Calling us, His prodigal children, BACK to Him..... My PJP2 Prelude Prayer for us today would be a combo of His Holy Spirit's Inspired WORD to Luke and David, as they Recorded in Luke 1:46-47 and Psalm 24:1-6.....O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, our Souls Magnify You, O Lord. Our spirits Rejoice in You, O God our Savior. Lord Jesus, we Praise You and Proclaim that The earth Is Your's O Lord. Holy Spirit, we Are Blessed By The Fullness You Give Thereof to the world and those who dwell therein. Father God, we Know It Is You Who Has Founded the world upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. Lord Jesus, As we Seek You, Help us and Guide us as we Long to Ascend Your Holy Hill. Holy Spirit, to any who Do Not Yet Know You, and ask: "Who Shall Stand In His Holy Place?" Father God, Thank You That By Your Son, our Lord Jesus' LIFE, SACRIFICE and His RESURRECTION, You Have Cleansed our hands and Replaced our heart of stone with A Pure Heart of Your Holy Flesh. Lord Jesus, Protect us and Keep us from what is false. Holy Spirit, Guard us and Help us Never to swear deceitfully. Father God, Thank You That By Your GRACE we Receive Your Blessing Now and Forevermore. O Lord Jesus, we Are Humbled by Your Righteousness. Father God we Are Thankful For Your Salvation, O God. Holy Spirit, Ever Be With us and Create In us to Be Your Generation who Seeks You and Shares You. Lord Jesus, May we Ever Reflect Your LIGHT to those who Seek The Face Of God The Father. In Your Holy Name we Lift Up our Prayers....Amen and Amen....jaj
