PJP2 “7 PRAISES” - 161222 - JESUS (Entry 3 - S) Entry 3 - S: Soul....Stone....Spirit Today's PJP2 161222 (JESUS / Entry 3 - S) is a Story with regards to our SOUL.....God's STONE/ROCK....and His Spirit (in connection with our spirit)..... From the get-go, let us concur, for Those Of His Household Of HOPE, His Family Of FAITH, that we agree with His Holy Spirit's Inspired WORD as Recorded in 2 Chronicles 15:12 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."And they Entered Into A Covenant To Seek The Lord, The God of their fathers, With ALL their Heart And With ALL their SOUL,".... Does that not sum up our LIVES today - we do strive (BUT not on our own power, BUT Within His Spirit and Presence) to Seek Him With ALL our Heart and SOUL? I can not speak for you, nor would I even contemplate doing so - I can only speak for myself, and I do strive to do this....Not saying I am successful 100% of the time (not by a long-shot)....BUT.....I do Pray that 'Little-by-Little' His Holy Spirit Within me is Transforming me to Be More Like our Lord Jesus....Still a LONG way to go..... Praise God The Father that we too can Claim with His Prophet Samuel, as The Holy Spirit Inspired Samuel to write.... 1 Samuel 2:2 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."There Is None Holy Like The Lord: For There Is None Besides You; There Is No ROCK Like our God.".... .....(NOTE: Just for interest sake - did you know that there's 633 Passages Of the WORD Select {POWS} that refer to either STONE/STONES; ROCK; CORNERSTONE.....just an interesting tidbit on The WORD/jaj)..... Isn't it an Encouragement to Recognize that as our Soul Walks with God The Father's Holy Spirit and His Only Son, our Lord Jesus - we can begin to grasp the TRUTH of our Lord Jesus' Parable..... Matthew 7:24-27 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)....“Jesus Said, 'Everyone then who Hears These WORDs Of Mine And Does Them Will Be Like A Wise Man who built his house on The ROCK. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, BUT It Did NOT fall, Because It Had Been Founded On The ROCK. And everyone who Hears These WORDs Of Mine And Does NOT Do Them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.'”.... Further, REMEMBER that All of this, our Seeking our Lord with ALL our Heart/SOUL, and Standing/Building Upon His ROCK, is Possible NOT because of any of our own doing....BUT, as His Holy Spirit Inspired His Prophet Zechariah to Record {Zechariah 4:6} (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Then He Said to me, 'THIS Is The WORD Of The Lord to Zerubbabel: "NOT by might, NOR by power, BUT By MY Spirit", Says The Lord Of Hosts.'".... One last PJP2 Prelude Point with Regards to God's Work Via His Holy Spirit at This Time of our Celebrating our Lord's First Advent, His First Noel..... Luke 1:26-38 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...." In the sixth month The Angel Gabriel Was Sent From God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. And the virgin's name was Mary. And He Came to her And Said, 'Greetings, O Favored one, The Lord Is With you!' BUT she was greatly troubled at The Saying, And Tried To Discern What Sort of Greeting This might be. And The Angel Said to her, “Do NOT be afraid, Mary, For you Have Found Favor With God. And BEHOLD, you Will Conceive in your womb And Bear A Son, And you Shall Call His Name Jesus. He Will Be Great And Will Be Called The Son Of The Most High. And The Lord God Will Give To Him The Throne of His father David, And He Will Reign Over the house of Jacob Forever, And of His Kingdom There Will Be NO end.' And Mary said to The Angel, “'How Will This Be, since I am a virgin?' And The Angel Answered her, 'The Holy Spirit Will Come Upon you, And The Power Of The Most High Will Overshadow you; Therefore The Child To Be Born Will Be Called Holy—The Son Of God. And BEHOLD, your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. FOR NOTHING WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD.' And Mary said, 'Behold, I am the servant Of The Lord; Let It Be to me According To Your WORD.' And The Angel departed from her.".... What a beautiful conclusion of our Prelude Point.....We see Mary, our Lord's earthly mother, surrender her Soul to God The Father to Seek Him. We see God The Father Secure and Assure Mary that He IS The Rock on Which she stands. God's Holy Spirit, as He Is for us, Is Mary's Guarantee of God's Faithful and True WORD. In a word....OUTSTANDING! Thus my Prelude Prayer for us today would simply be....O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, we Praise and Worship Your Blessed and Holy Name. Lord Jesus, Come Once More into The Manger of our Hearts. Holy Spirit, Bear in us Your Fruit that we May Reflect Your Love and Light to our world of darkness. Father God, May we Claim with Mary, 'Let It Be' to us, According To Your WORD. Lord Jesus, we Lift Up our Prayers in Your Holy Name....Amen and Amen....jaj
