PJP2 “7 PRAISES” - 161217 - GLORY GLORY: God's Love/Light (shines) On (His) Redeemed/Reconciled (by) Yeshua Exodus 40:34 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Then The Cloud Covered The Tent Of Meeting, And The GLORY Of The Lord Filled The Tabernacle.".... Have you ever experienced a day, or a moment, or an instant where God's GLORY simply overwhelms your senses? I know I've had moments like that - where the world all-around me, as well as my Soul within me have just 'lit up' with God's GLORY, His Brightness, Blinding Whiter-than-White Light and Presence. It is simply Amazing, Awesome and Breath-taking all in One. This time of year, our Celebration of our Lord Jesus' First Advent, God's GLORY simply seems a tad-closer, even, perhaps, more Real to us than other times our calendar (except maybe Easter...BUT.....that's another PJP2 Entry for a later date/jaj)....Maybe because we're just more in-tune with ourselves during our yearly "Advent-ure" towards Bethlehem, that we grant The Holy Spirit more access to our thoughts, and we're more Sensitive to His Concepts working within us. Yet, as I WORD-Searched GLORY via the biblegateway.com search-engine, GLORY generated 348 Passages Of the WORD Select (POWS) to consider. Which, I Hear The Holy Spirit Mentioning through those 348 POWS, That God The Father's GLORY is consistently and constantly all about us. God The Father is NOT shy about Revealing His GLORY. And When He Does.....Deuteronomy 5:24(ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."And you said, ‘BEHOLD, The Lord our God Has Shown us His GLORY And Greatness, And we Have Heard His Voice Out Of The Midst Of The Fire. This Day we Have Seen God Speak With man, And man Still LIVE."... What the children of Israel then didn't seem to grasp is The Fact, as our Lord Jesus Shared via His LIFE Among us (and Further By His LIFE Within us), as we Witness God's GLORY, He Reveals to us that BECAUSE of His GLORY Within us, Indeed This IS Why/How we LIVE..... So, for just one more moment, Consider yet again the shepherds from the First Advent Noel Narrative..... Luke 2:9(ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."And An Angel Of The Lord Appeared to them (the shepherds), And The GLORY Of The Lord Shone Around them, And they Were Filled With Great FEAR.".... I can only imagine how the shepherds must of felt. BaBaam!!!! One minute they are settling in for the night watch of their flock(s). Then the NEXT, feeling more ALIVE than ever before, they have not just One Angel Of The Lord, BUT The Entire Heavenly HOSTS WITH The GLORY of God The Father 'High-Lighting" as a Miraculous Back-drop to His Announcement of our Lord Jesus' Arrival. Pretty cool, Indeed! So, in Conclusion and for our PJP2 Prelude Prayer for today - May we simply Lift Up His Angel's Praise and Prayer that They Shared with us all those Noel Nights ago.... Luke 2:14 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."GLORY To God In The Highest, and on earth PEACE among those with whom He Is Pleased!”....In Your Holy Name, Lord Jesus, we Lift Up our Prayers...Amen and Amen....jaj
