PJP2 “7 PRAISES” - 161207 - ANGEL ANGEL: Again Note God's GRACE Expressed (by our) Lord's LIFE, LOVE, LIGHT I will be the first to admit the ANGEL is one of my favorite Characters of our Lord Jesus' First Advent Story. As God's Messengers, they play such a pivotal role as a Key Communication Node for God The Father Announcing and His Revelation of His Son's Arrival to His lost planet earth. From The Angel Of The Lord's Visit with Joseph (see Matthew 1:18-25), to the Arch-ANGEL Gabriel's Visit with Zechariah (John The Baptist' Dad) and Mary (see Luke 1)....God's ANGELs were very visible in preparing our Lord Jesus' entrance onto His earthly Walk of Salvation. One of my favorite Passages Of the WORD, Select, is undoubtedly.... ....Luke 2:8-14 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an ANGEL Of The Lord Appeared to them, And The Glory Of The Lord Shone around them, And they were filled With great fear. And The ANGEL Said to them, 'Fear NOT, For BEHOLD, I Bring you Good News Of Great JOY That Will Be For ALL the people. For Unto you Is Born This Day in the city of David A Savior, WHO IS Christ The Lord. And THIS Will Be A SIGN For you: you Will Find A Baby Wrapped In Swaddling Cloths And Lying In A Manger.' And Suddenly There Was With The ANGEL A Multitude Of The Heavenly HOST Praising God And Saying, 'Glory To God In The Highest, And on earth PEACE among those With whom He Is Pleased!'”.... And as the J-ACRONYM reflects for us today..... .....Again Note God's GRACE Expressed (by our) Lord's LIFE, LOVE, LIGHT "The ANGEL Said to them, 'Fear NOT, For BEHOLD, I Bring you Good News Of Great JOY That Will Be For ALL the people. For Unto you Is Born This Day in the city of David A Savior, WHO IS Christ The Lord." Team, God's WORD to those shepherds long ago IS THE SAME WORD to us this very day some 2000+ years later....May we, like those shepherds, 'make haste', to Go and See His Son, our Lord and Savior. My overall PJP2 Prayer for us today would be - O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You, Lord, for Your Amazing and Saving GRACE. Lord Jesus, Help Prepare our Hearts to Be Your Manger. Holy Spirit, Open our Inner Eyes that we too May See Your Glory as You Announce Anew our Lord and Savior's Arrival. Father God, Empower and Encourage us, like Your shepherds of old, to Make Haste To GO, and Then Share Your WORD and TRUTH with All. In Your Holy Name, Lord Jesus, we Raise our Prayers and Praise.....Amen and Amen....jaj
