COMMUNITY CLERGY AND LAITY TRAINING
TO AID OUR VETERANS - Session 2
Do you have a passion to help our Veterans?
Do you feel more can be done to help Veterans and their families?
Do you know of Veterans suffering from PTSD and Depression?
If you answered yes to any one of these questions then you need to attend this training. Second session will be on Thursday, December 8. This can be a tremendous outreach for you & your church.
The suicide rate for our Veterans is now up to 22 per day.
More Veterans have been lost to suicide than in both the war in Vietnam and the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Many are suffering from Moral Injury experience.
In this training you will be given materials and resources to help Veterans in your area.
You can help create a safe space, develop trusting relationships, and listen without judgment.
The primary mission is to inform and support our troops and families before, during and
