PJP2 PROLOG POST - 161118 - HOME - 2 Corinthians 5:6-9 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."So we Are Always Of Good Courage. We Know That While we Are At HOME in the body we Are Away From The Lord, For we Walk By FAITH, Not by sight. YES, we Are Of Good Courage, And we Would Rather Be Away From the body And At HOME With The Lord. So Whether we Are At HOME Or Away, we Make It our Aim/Goal To Please Him.".... General Johnson (my Lovely Bride of 38 Years, Cindy....who, by-the-way, will ALWAYS outrank me) and I have been doing some traveling during our Transition Leave as I retire from our US Air Force. It has been a Blessing to decompress, visit with dear friends and family, and to simply be with each other without any pressures of "The job" hanging over our heads. That said, though, there is a certain sense of relief to be back HOME. Much like what The Holy Spirit's Sharing with us via our PROLOG POST POWS (2 Corinthians 5:6-9).....especially in this section....."YES, we Are Of Good Courage, And we Would Rather Be Away From the body And At HOME With The Lord. So Whether we Are At HOME Or Away, we Make It our Aim/Goal To Please Him." There is a certain strength and calm we gain, while we're 'on-the-road' from our knowing we have a safe/secure 'haven' awaiting us when we finally turn and return HOME. Much the same, at least That Is What I am Hearing The Spirit Share, we Are Promised that Same Strength and Calm in Him, Knowing For Certain He Has Prepared an Eternal HOME for us With Him, once The Time Comes for us to Return HOME To Him. So, through our Travels in This LIFE, May His Assurance of His HOME Awaiting our Arrival Give us His Courage and Encouragement to Ever Reflect His Light, Love and Grace in All we Say, Think and Do. My Prayer for us today would simply be.....Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You for Your Love and Your Grace in our Lives. Lord Jesus, Thank You that You Have Come and Gone Before us to Prepare our Heavenly HOMES in You. Holy Spirit, Encourage and Empower us to Ever Reflect Your Presence and Provision of these earthly Tents. Father God, May we Help Shine Your Light to all, Drawing them To You and Your Love Which Welcomes us all HOME in You. Lord Jesus, In Your Holy Name we Lift Up our Prayers.....Amen and Amen....jaj
