PJP2 PROLOG POST - 16111415 - WILL - Deuteronomy 28:1-2 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...." “And IF you Faithfully OBEY The Voice Of The Lord your God, Being Careful To Do ALL His Commandments that I command you today, The Lord your God WILL Set you High Above all the nations of the earth. And ALL These Blessings Shall Come Upon you And Overtake you, IF you OBEY The Voice Of The Lord your God.'.... We talk quite a bit in regards to God's WILL in our lives. During this current time of challenge, one may begin to become concern that either we're ignoring God's WILL, or, due to all the background noise, we simply are not able to Hear Him as He Shares His WILL. BUT, let's go back to the very beginning..... Genesis 6:14-15 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."(God Said to Noah)....'Make yourself An Ark Of gopher wood. Make rooms in The Ark, And cover It inside and out with pitch. This Is How you Are To Make It: the length of The Ark 300 cubits, Its breadth 50 cubits, and Its height 30 cubits.'"..... Hebrews 11:8 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."By Faith Abraham OBEYED When he Was Called To Go Out to a Place that he Was To Receive As An Inheritance. And he Went Out, Not Knowing Where he was Going.".... Exodus 3:14 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."God Said to Moses, 'I AM Who I AM.' And He Said, 'Say This to the people of Israel: ‘I AM Has Sent me To you.’”..... Judges 6:14 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."And The Lord Turned to Gideon and Said, 'Go In This Might of yours And Save Israel from the hand of Midian; Do Not I Send you?'” Matthew 26:39 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."And Going a little farther He Fell On His Face And Prayed, Saying, 'My Father, If It Be Possible, Let This Cup Pass From Me; Nevertheless, NOT as I will, BUT As You WILL.'”.... Here's five of God's Folks, our brothers in The Household of HOPE....Noah, Abraham, Moses, Gideon and God's Own Son, our Lord Jesus. From reviewing HISTORY, God's WILL in all Five would to the outward eye appear to be quite vague, even perhaps oblique. Yet each of them demonstrate to us His Path To Follow....They each TRUSTED and OBEYED God's Guidance in their Lives. Granted a few of them raised concerns (Abraham, Moses, Gideon), BUT (Behold the Underlying Truth) they each still came onboard with God's PLAN and Followed Through with His Assigned Mission for them. I Sense His Holy Spirit Sharing the Same with us today. TRUST and OBEY that God The Father, through His Son, our Lord Jesus, His Holy Spirit Within us and His Own WORD Working In, Around and Through us, we too Will Witness His PLAN at Work, even in the midst of man's willfulness and selfishness, God's Still Able to WORK His WILL. Thus Team PJP2....Let's Remember this Promise and PLAN He Provides us.....Jeremiah 29:11-14 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."'For I Know The Plans I Have For you', Declares The Lord, 'Plans For Welfare And NOT for evil, To Give you A Future And A HOPE. Then you Will Call Upon Me And Come And Pray To Me, And I WIL Hear you. You Will Seek Me And Find Me, When you Seek Me With All your Heart. I WILL Be Found By you', Declares The Lord, 'And I WILL Restore your fortunes And Gather you from all the nations and all the places Where I Have Driven you', Declares The Lord, 'And I WILL Bring you Back To The Place from Which I Sent you Into Exile.'" My Prayer for us today would be....O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You, Lord! We Come Before You in Worship and Praise. Lord Jesus, Teach us, By Your WORD and By Your Example during Your Walk Among us to Ever Trust and Obey You. Holy Spirit, Open our Inner Eyes that we May Clearly See Your WILL at Work In, Around and Through us. Father God, Daily May our Lives Reflect You and Your PLAN of Salvation for all mankind Alive and Well in Your WILL being carried out.
