I have always been fascinated when the 'underdog' in a fight takes on the 'big dog' only to come out The Victor. Our human history is full of examples, as is The Biblical History as well. One may say our ongoing U.S. Election 2016 could be similar in scope. BUT, as we've been saying throughout today's PJP2 16110708, One Man DOES Make A Difference..... Consider our Lord Jesus....IF we view His First Advent through the human-focus alone, He indeed would be viewed the 'underdog'. (A) Infant; (B) Uneducated Carpenter; (C) Rag-a-muffin Band of Misfits for Followers; (D) Died a Criminals Death; (E) Ended badly (from the establishments point of view).... BUT, His TRUTH: (A) Infant - easily accepted by Shepherds and Wisemen As The King of Kings; (B) Carpenter - Creative, in Fact He's The Creator of ALL, so Repairing our Broken Hearts and Souls as easy as Repairing a Chair's Broken Bottom; (C) Misfits....don't we 'fit' right in?; (D) Cross: His WORD Assures us Christ's Death on His Cross was The Ultimate Down Payment for our Salvation, Once and For ALL!; (E) Jesus' 'Ending' was In Reality Just The Beginning AND The BEST IS YET TO COME!!!!! So, let us not presume that our human-point-of-view is always the right view-point to choose....BLUF: Only God's View, Ultimately, is what really matters..... My Prayer for us today, Election Day 2016.....O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You for Your Love, Mercy and Grace. Lord Jesus, Open our Inner-Eyes to See Your Way and WORD for us today and everyday. Holy Spirit, Regardless of the Outcomes of today's U.S. Elections, Remind us that You Are In Control, and God The Father's Will, Will Be DONE! Father God, May we Ever Reflect Your Light!
