PJP2 “7 PRAISES” - 161122 - GRAVY GRAVY: (God's) Grace Revealed to All Via Yeshua (Jesus) Jeremiah 33:2-3 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Thus Says The Lord Who Made the earth, The Lord Who Formed it to establish it—The Lord Is His Name: 'Call To Me And I Will Answer you, And Will Tell you Great And Hidden Things That you Have Not Known.".... Yep, today is about GRAVY....Cindy and I are in the middle of preparing to share our Thanksgiving Day with Mom Johnson. We're doing a 'carry-in', bringing Thanksgiving Dinner with us. As we were at the grocery yesterday, we were picking up the normal for a traditional turkey meal (cranberries; pumpkin; stuffing.....). One of the traditions Cindy's side of our family has is homemade noodles with GRAVY. If you've never tried GRAVY on homemade noodles, it is really quite good. Anyway....that got me to thinking about GRAVY. The Holy Spirit has Done His Part to Help derive today's J-ACRONYM..... GRAVY: (God's) Grace Revealed to All Via Yeshua (Jesus) Indeed, GRAVY in God's Context does make since to me. I mean GRACE (God's Redemption/Reconciliation At Christ's Expense) is God's GRAVY upon His Gift and Meal of Salvation that He Provides for us. Oh there's a ton of comparisons we could make (Christ's The BREAD of LIFE....) where GRAVY is 'applied' (pardon the pun).....BUT for today's PJP2, I am Hearing The Spirit Guide me to His FOCUS on our Lord Jesus and God The Father's Revelation to us of His Love for us By Showering us with His GRACE. Isaiah 28:16 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Therefore, Thus Says The Lord God, 'BEHOLD, I Am The one Who Has Laid As A Foundation in Zion, A STONE, A Tested STONE, A Precious CORNERSTONE, Of A Sure Foundation: Whoever BELIEVES Will Not Be in haste.’".... Such a Blessing to Connect and Be Open to His Building Within us Based On His CORNERSTONE, our Lord Jesus Christ. This is GRAVY for us to Know He Loves us so. 2 Corinthians 9:8 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."And God Is Able To Make ALL GRACE Abound To you, So That Having ALL Sufficiency In ALL Things At ALL Times, you May Abound In Every Good Work."..... What an Assurance to Recognize that God The Father Continues to Ladle On His GRAVY in our Lives. I would Pray that He Opens our Inner Eyes, Mind and Heart to Be Receptive to His GRAVY pouring on, around and through us For His Kingdom. So, for my overall Prayer for us today.....Acts 20:32 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."And Now I Commend you To God And To The WORD Of His GRACE, Which Is Able To Build you Up And To Give you The Inheritance among all those who Are Sanctified."..... In our Lord Jesus' Holy Name....Amen and Amen....jaj
