The Lord Is my Strength And my Shield; In Him my Heart TRUSTS, And I am Helped; my Heart Exults, And With my Song I Give Thanks To Him.".... PJP2 PROLOG POST - 161017-YAM/YAM W - Isaiah 43:11-12 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."'I AM The Lord, And Besides ME There IS No Savior. I Declared And Saved And Proclaimed, When There Was No strange god among you; And you Are MY Witnesses,' Declares The Lord, 'And I AM God.'".... Can I get A Witness? I have heard this Question many times - never gave it much thought.....until reading our POWS today..... Here we Hear God The Father making very plain our Purpose (or at least One of His Purposes in our Lives)......we Are His Witnesses! IF you search the word Witness in The WORD - The Holy Spirit uses the word Witness 166 times. God The Father establishes clearly that for something to be considered True, then at least 2-3 Witnesses must come forward to verify and validate the claim. Our Lord Jesus also spoke on God The Father's Witness Concept.....Matthew 18:16 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."BUT if he does not listen, Take One Or Two others along with you, that every charge May Be Established By The Evidence of Two or Three Witnesses." Now here's a thought of Encouragement, God The Father Demonstrates His Own Use of 2-3 Witnesses.....He Gives us His WORD....His SON.....His HOLY SPIRIT as Witnesses to His Love, Light, Mercy, Forgiveness and GRACE towards us. BaBaam! Thus, isn't it Amazing that He Declares to us that we too are His Witnesses! And what, then do we Witness too? Team, I can't Answer for you - I will Answer for me that I know, in my Heart of Hearts He is my Lord, my Savior, my Light, my Shield, my Strong Tower.......BLUF: Start at Genesis 1:1 and read through Revelation 22:21, and I'll Witness to His TRUTH. Amen. So.....my Prayer for us today would be a Paraphrase of Prayer and Praise using The Holy Spirit's Inspired WORD as Recorded in Psalm 66:16-20 (ESV/emphasis & paraphrase added/jaj)....O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You and Praise You for Your Love, Mercy, Light and Grace. Lord Jesus, Strengthen us as Your Witness. Holy Spirit, Help us and Give us Your WORD to say: "Come And Hear, All you who Faithfully Esteem Adore and Respect God The Father, And we Will Tell What He, The Lord our God Has Done For our Souls." Father God, Thank You, for even when we Cry Out To You in either despair, or Rejoicing, we Cry Out with High Praise for Your Grace. O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Make Clear Through us as Your Witnesses to those who Do Not Know You.....IF we had cherished sin and iniquity in our Heart, then, O Lord, how could You have Listened to our prayers? BUT, we Praise You, O Lord, for By Your Grace, God The Father Has Listened. Lord Jesus, Because of Your Sacrifice and Resurrection, God The Father Has Attended to the voice of our Prayers. Holy Spirit, Father God, Lord Jesus, May You Ever Be Blessed, O God! Thank You, O Lord, Because By Your Grace You Have Not rejected our Prayers. Thank You that You have Not removed Your Eternal Steadfast LOVE from us.
