PJP2 PROLOG - 161011 - PROLOG Focus: Hebrews 10:11-18 ......LEGACY Romans 15:8-9 (ESV/emphasis & paraphrase added/jaj)...."For I Tell you That Christ Became A Servant to the circumcised To Show God's Truthfulness, In order To Confirm The Promises Given to the patriarchs, And in order That The Gentiles Might Glorify God For His Mercy/Favor/Grace. As IT Is Written, 'Therefore I Will Praise You Among the Gentiles, And Sing To Your NAME.'”.... PJP2 PROLOG POST - 161011 - LEGACY - Hebrews 10:11-18 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...." And every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. BUT When Christ Had Offered For All Time A Single Sacrifice for sins, He Sat Down At The Right Hand Of God, Waiting From That Time Until His enemies Should Be Made A Footstool For His Feet. For By A Single Offering He Has Perfected For ALL Time those who Are Being Sanctified. And The Holy Spirit Also Bears Witness to us; For After Saying, 'This IS The Covenant That I Will Make With them After Those Days', Declares The Lord: 'I will Put My Laws ON their Hearts, And Write Them ON their Minds,' Then He Adds, 'I Will Remember their sins And their lawless deeds NO MORE.' Where There IS Forgiveness of these, There IS NO Longer Any Offering for sin.".... There it is Crew - God's INHERITANCE/LEGACY in our Lives is Based on His Plan of Redemption and Restoration of our Relationship with Him via His Son, our Lord Jesus' ONCE AND FOR ALL TIME (OAF/AT) Sacrifice for our sins and lawless deeds. And WHAT An INHERITANCE/LEGACY this is! For as we see throughout God's WORD, His PROMISE to us is Mind-Blowing. Oh, Indeed, our human-part begins to get drawn towards the material, the 'streets-of-gold', the 'pearly gates', all of that. And I won't deny that the eye is easily distracted by the Beauty that awaits us. BUT I am Hearing The Holy Spirit Remind me that God's PROMISE, His INHERITANCE/LEGACY to us has a deeper, "Living Water" Well Springing inside of us that will Flow Ever Raising The Holy Spirit Fruit in our Lives.....Galatians 5:22-24 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."BUT The Fruit Of The Spirit IS Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-Control; against Such Things there is no law. And those who Belong To Christ Jesus Have Crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.".... Now That is an INHERITANCE/LEGACY that gets one excited.....Indeed, I can Hardly Wait.....Come Lord Jesus! My Prayer for us today thus would be to re-state from above.....Psalm 119:140, 147-148 (ESV/emphasis & paraphrase added/jaj)....O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, we Praise and Worship Your Holy Name. Lord Jesus, All Your Promises Are Well Tried in our Lives. Holy Spirit, we Your servants LOVE Your WORD of Promise to us. Father God, here we are, again, Rising Early, even before Your New Day Dawns, to Spend Time in Your WORD and PROMISE. O Lord Jesus, To You and You Alone we Cry for Your HELP. Father God, we HOPE In Your WORD. Holy Spirit, our Inner Eyes Are Awake Before the watches of the night are done, Waiting and Listening to and for You and Your WORD to us. Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Guide us and Encourage us That we May Meditate On Your Promise of Love, Mercy, Forgiveness and Grace. May These Be our Inheritance and Legacy from You. May we Share this Legacy with All.
