PJP2 PROLOG POST - 161007 - EAGLE - Titus 3:3-7 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. BUT When The Goodness And Loving Kindness Of God our Savior Appeared, He SAVED us, NOT Because of works done by us in righteousness, BUT According To His Own MERCY, By The Washing Of Regeneration And Renewal Of The Holy Spirit, Whom He Poured Out on us Richly Through Jesus Christ our Savior, So That Being Justified By His GRACE we Might Become Heirs According To The HOPE Of Eternal Life.".... As we read today's PJP2 PROLOG POST 161007 POWS (Titus 3:3-7), I must confess I am both Convicted (for indeed Titus 3:3 reads so much like a line from my daily journal)....and I am Amazed by the Transforming Power of God's GRACE in our Lives. I mean His Word sums up what I'm thinking so much better than I can pen.....Ephesians 3:20-21 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Now To Him Who Is Able To DO Far More Abundantly Than ALL That we Ask Or Think, According To The Power At Work Within us, To Him Be Glory in the church And In Christ Jesus Throughout ALL generations, Forever and Ever. Amen.".... Oh and Team, the True Encouragement for us to Grasp is that this TRUTH is NOT just in our Past, BUT, get ready for it - This TRUTH is Also Here, Right Now, IN our Present, AND even Better, God Guarantees This TRUTH as our FUTURE......How Cool is That! Thus my Prayer for us today would be a Paraphrase of Prayer/Praise employing His Holy Spirit's Inspired Word to Paul as Recorded in Titus 3:3-7 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)....O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You for Your Loving and Amazing GRACE. Lord Jesus, we Confess that we ourselves were once (and sometimes still are) foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. BUT, Holy Spirit, we Praise You that When The Goodness And Loving Kindness Of God The Father, via His Son, our Savior The Lord Jesus, Appeared, He, By His GRACE, SAVED us. Father God, Help us to Always Remember that Your Plan for our Redemption is NOT Because of works done by us, even those works done in Your Spirit of Righteousness. No, Lord Jesus, our Salvation is not by our work, BUT According To God The Father's Own MERCY. You Have Saved us By The Washing Of Regeneration And Renewal Of The Holy Spirit, Whom You Poured Out upon us Richly, Father God, Through Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ our Savior. Thank You, Lord Jesus, that By You Sacrifice and Resurrection, You Have Caused us to Become Heirs by Adoption, According To God The Father's Assured HOPE for us, which Results in Eternal Life with You, O Lord.
