I am Thankful God The Father Provides for us, not just day-to-day, BUT as reflected in today's PJP2 THANKS TEXT, John 6:47-51, He Provides for us Eternally.
Note: At present my Daily Readings of The WORD, has me studying in The Book of Ecclesiastes. Here is what The Holy Spirit Inspired Solomon to write in Ecclesiastes 6:7 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."All the toil of man is for his mouth, yet his appetite is not satisfied." That is so very true, isn't it? I mean man's appetite, be it for physical food, or stuff, or whatever, when we work to fulfill that on our own, especially without God as our center-point, BLUF, we simply are never satisfied - there is always that 'next thing' we want. I know I'm that way for certain. Just ask Cindy.....I want, I want, I want.....
But Praise our Lord Jesus, He Knows us so well, and He offers, Once and for All Time to Provide us That Bread that Does Satisfy Eternally.
Now, doesn't mean I still won't hear the "I want" X 3 mantra.....BUT does mean the "I want" X 3 begins to have less and less appeal, even meaning, Because the only True Meaning is our Life and Relationship with Him.
So, my Prayer of Thanks for us today would be - O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You for Your Being our Bread of Life. Holy Spirit, Lead us to Find Full Satisfaction in Your Bread of Life for us. Father God, Help us to Share Your Bread of Life to those still Hungering for Your Love and Grace. Lord Jesus, Thank You and we Raise our Prayers and Praise In Your Most Holy Name....Amen and Amen....jaj
