PJP2 PROLOG - 160930 - PROLOG Focus: Isaiah 45:11-13......FREEDOM - L

Psalm 83:18 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."That they May Know That You Alone, Whose Name IS The Lord, Are The Most High over all the earth."....

PJP2 PROLOG POST - 160930 - FREEDOM - L - Isaiah 45:11-13(ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...." Thus Says The Lord, The Holy One of Israel, And The One Who Formed Him: 'Ask Me of Things To Come; Will you Command Me Concerning My children And The Work Of My Hands?  I Made the earth And Created man on it; IT Was My Hands that stretched out the heavens, And I Commanded All their Host.  I Have Stirred Him up In Righteousness, And I Will Make All His Ways Level; He Shall Build My City And Set My exiles FREE, not for price or reward,' says The Lord of Hosts."....

I have mentioned before how God's Q&A sessions fascinate me.  Here's another example....The Holy Spirit Inspired God's Prophet Isaiah to write Isaiah 45:11-13.  In the middle of this POWS, our Lord poses this general question.... 'Ask Me of Things To Come; Will you Command Me Concerning My children And The Work Of My Hands?

And then, as our Lord Continuously does - He Answers His Own Question...."I Made the earth And Created man on it; IT Was My Hands that stretched out the heavens, And I Commanded All their Host.  I Have Stirred Him up In Righteousness, And I Will Make All His Ways Level; He Shall Build My City And Set My exiles FREE, not for price or reward"....

Now, as I am learning (and I'll bet you have as well), so often our Lord has more than one meaning in His WORD to us.  In fact, as I know I've shared before, I can read the same set of POWS ten times, and The Holy Spirit will Reveal ten new thoughts and concepts that I simply don't remember having seen the last time I studied a POWS passage.

Same applies here in Isaiah 45:11-13.  Here's what I mean....

I know we are always asking God The Father about 'things to Come'.....We've done that since God Began Time back at the Creation of our world.  Check out Matthew Chapter 24, The Holy Spirit Gave Jesus' Reply to a similar question.....Then, our not being satisfied with just asking, we, mankind, take that next 'bold' step, and in essence tell God what we think He Should Be Doing in our world (and lives).

Praise God that He Hears our Prayers and comments BUT That He IS God, and His Patience is Everlasting.  His reply to our question and recommendations....reminds us that He is In Control and He Is, when we'll get out of His Way, employing us (with His Perfect Example to Follow....His Son, our Lord Jesus) to Work His Will and Have an Impact for Him.

Outstanding!

So, for our Prayer for us today, permit me to employ a Paraphrase of Prayer and Praise based on His Holy Spirit's Inspired WORD to Paul as he records in Romans 6:5-11 (ESV/emphasis & paraphrase added/jaj)....O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You for Your WORD of Mercy and Grace.  Lord Jesus, we Confess our Need for You.  Holy Spirit, by this Confession and Surrender to Your Will, we Know we Have Been United With our Lord Jesus In His Death, His Death on His Cross.  Father God, since we Are One with Your Son, we Praise You, as WEll, for we Shall Certainly Be United With Him In A Resurrection Like His from Easter Morning.  Lord Jesus, Help us to Grasp and Know That Indeed our 'old self' Was Crucified With Him In Order That our body of sin Might Be Brought To nothing.  Holy Spirit, In Your Grace we are No Longer enslaved to sin. Father God, we Thank You that One, Your Only Son, our Lord Jesus, He IS Who Has Died and Has Set FREE those of us that have been slaves to sin.  Lord Jesus, Now IF indeed we Have Died With You, we Believe That, Through The Indwelling of His Holy Spirit, we Will Also LIVE With Him, Now and Forever. Father God, Empower and Encourage us to Share Your TRUTH, Which is....."We Know That Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, Being Raised From the dead, WILL NEVER die Again; death No Longer has dominion over Him. For The Death He Died He Died to sin, ONCE FOR ALL, BUT The LIVE He LIVES He LIVES To God." O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Strengthen us that we too Must Consider ourselves Dead to sin and ALIVE to You, O Father God, In Your Son, our Lord Christ Jesus.....In Your Holy Name, Lord Jesus, we Lift Up our Prayers....Amen and Amen....jaj
