PJP2 PROLOG POST - 160921- PLANS (#9 BLUF) - Proverbs 16:1-3 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."The PLANS Of The Heart belong to man, BUT The Answer of The Tongue IS From The Lord.  All The Ways of a man Are 'Pure' in his own eyes, BUT The Lord Weighs The Spirit. COMMIT your Work To The Lord, AND your PLANS Will Be Established."....

PLANS - Praise the Lord....(His) Answers (to our prayers are) Nearer Still
             - Prayer Leads (us) Always Next (to His) Source
- Patience (in the) Lord's leading Aligns (us) Next (to His) Son (our Savior)

As of today, Cindy and I are 23 days away from our beginning our Transitional Leave in preparation for my retirement from Active Duty Air Force (as of 1Jan2017....102 days away)....YIKES....(BUT then who's really counting)....

How timely that His Holy Spirit would bring up His Concept on PLANS today.  One of the traits my Pops (John A. Johnson) was noted for was his ability to PLAN.  That man was a PLANNER second to none.  I learned, as I grew up, that he'd learned his PLANNING skills from his Pops Johnson (which would be my Grandpa Johnson, though Dad's Pops had crossed over well before I was even thought of.....).  According to my Pops, his Pops (I know this is making my head spin....bear with me).....His Pops would gather his three sons (Paul, Harold and John) together each morning and go over the PLANS for the day.  Then Dad's Pops would ensure, throughout the day, that each of the sons had the PLAN down.  Thus it's easy for me to see (because my Pops did something similar, perhaps not quite as rigid, but similar with my Sister Linda and I) where I get my penchant to want to have a PLAN for each day to move forward with.  Course, we weren't farming over 1,000 acres, or handing long a heard of milk cows, but in my Pops noggin' our 'mission' for the day was just as focused, but I know you get the point.

Now, as I have learned over these last 30 cumulative years of wearing the Cloth of our Nation, Colonel Charlie's Third Rule of Officership also comes to bear.....

"All PLANS, regardless how well built, will always go to pooh after the first blush with the enemy!"

So......what's all that got to do with our PJP2 PROLOG 160921 - PLANS (#9 BLUF) entry today?

(1) - "COMMIT your Work (PLANS) To The Lord"

(2) - Colossians 3:23-24 (ESV/emphasis added)...."Whatever you DO, DO/Work Heartily, AS For The Lord And NOT for men, Knowing That From The Lord you Will Receive The Inheritance as your reward.  You Are Serving The Lord Christ."

(3) - Proverbs 19:21 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Many Are The PLANS in the mind of a man, BUT It Is The Purpose/PLANS Of The Lord That Will Stand."....

So, Team, really all I'm trying to Share is, regardless IF our PLANS be for just the next moment, hour, or even 24-hours, or 24-years....BLUF is that God Does Indeed Have The PLANS well in Hand AND the BEST thing for us to do is Surrender It ALL to Him......

Here's my Prayer for us today.....Psalm 61:1-3, 8 (ESV/emphasis & paraphrase added/jaj)....O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You that we Know You Ever Hear our Prayers.  Lord Jesus, Thank You as You Listen, O Lord our God, To our Prayers today.  Holy Spirit, even if we be at the end of the earth, we Know When we Call To You, You Hear us.  Father God, even when our Hearts are faint, Thank You that You Hear us.  Lord Jesus, we would Pray Today and Ever that You Continue to Lead us To You, The ROCK of God The Father.  Holy Spirit, Open our Inner Eyes that we May See that You Are Higher than any trial we might have and Guiding us On Your Path of Grace and Peace From Above and Within.  Father God, Thank You that You Have Been our Refuge.  Lord Jesus, Thank You that You Are Ever our Strong Tower against the enemy.  In Your PLANS for us, Father God, Holy Spirit, Lord Jesus, we Will Ever Sing You Praises as You Love us and PLAN Only Good for us.  It Is In Your Name, Lord Jesus, we Pray and Promise to Perform our Vows of Faith In You Day After Day.  Help us Ever Reflect You, O Lord, and Your Loving, Saving Grace....Amen and Amen....jaj
