PJP2 PROLOG POST - 160919 - GIVEN (#7 BLUF) - Proverbs 22:9 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Whoever Has a Generous/Bountiful eye Will Be Blessed, For he GIVES/Shares his bread with the poor."

God's Involvement {LOVE} (is our assurance) {of His} Vow for Eternal Life NOW (and always)
As most of you, I believe, are aware, I employ the BibleGateway.com (BGC) website as one of my primary search engines for looking up POWS. I am always amazed at the numbers BGC shares when looking up a word or phrase in search of a specific POWS.....For instance, for today's PJP2's #7 BLUF.....GIVEN....I used "GIVE" and "I have GIVEN you" as my two requests....GIVE resulted in 1,474 POWS that the word "GIVE" is used. "I have GIVEN you" resulted in 85 POWS. That's a LOT of POWS to select from for today's PJP2 Posting. :)
BUT (Behold the Underlying TRUTH) - The Holy Spirit has Been Guiding me towards the flow that you note in the PJP2 Entries for today's 160919 scenario - He Has Been Sharing that the PJP2s have been building upon, as in reality so Does He in our Lives.....From What God The Father, and His Son, our Lord Jesus, as well as His Holy Spirit GIVEs to us, and in the end, how we Respond to His GIVING.
Thus we come to today's PROLOG POST 160919 POWS - Proverbs 22:9.
(Note: I would also include the PJP2 LIGHT - 160919 - GIVEN (#7 BLUF) - Luke 6:37-38 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."(And Jesus Said)....'Judge NOT, and you will not be judged; Condemn NOT, and you will not be condemned; FORGIVE, And you Will Be FORGIVEN; GIVE, And It Will Be GIVEN To you. Good Measure, Pressed Down, Shaken Together, Running Over, Will Be Put Into your lap. For With The Measure you Use IT Will Be Measured Back To you.'”....
Both Proverbs 22:9 and Luke 6:37-38 GIVE us a Vector towards Generosity (both physically as well as mentally). Makes total sense - we see time and again through God The Father's WORD to us - He BLESSES us that we May Be a BLESSING to others. In that way He is Employing us as His Living Reflection of His LOVE for all.
For though in this world of darkness and evil, we Are His Reflections of Grace, Love and Mercy.
And this brings us to 1 Peter 3:13-17 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Now who is there to harm you IF you Are Zealous For What Is GOOD? BUT Even if you should Suffer For Righteousness' Sake, you Will Be Blessed. Have NO fear of them, NOR be troubled, BUT In your Hearts Honor Christ The Lord As Holy, Always Being Prepared To Make A Defense to anyone who asks you For A Reason For The HOPE That IS In you; YET Do It With Gentleness And Respect, Having A Good Conscience, So That, When you are slandered, those who revile your Good Behavior In Christ may be put to shame. For It Is Better To Suffer For Doing GOOD, IF That Should Be God's Will, Than for doing evil."
So, my Prayer for us today would be - O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, we Worship and Praise Your Holy Name. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your Grace and Gift of Eternal LIFE within us. Holy Spirit, Encourage and Empower us to Share Generously The Blessings You Bring to us each and every day. Father God, May we Ever Reflect Your Love and Light to All those, especially the lost who do Not Know You as Lord. Lord Jesus, we Surrender to You and Know That You Are With us, Now and Always. In Your Precious Name we Lift Up our Prayers, Amen and Amen....jaj
