Isaiah 52:7 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."How Beautiful upon the mountains Are The Feet of Him Who Brings Good News, Who Publishes Peace, Who Brings Good News of Happiness, Who Publishes Salvation, Who Says to Zion, 'Your God Reigns.'”
I don't know about you, BUT (Behold the Underlying Truth), there are times (actually more times than not) I really get tired of all the 'bad' news we get exposed to. It just seems like there's no good news to share. Now, I realize that the media's coverage of the news-story of the day is what draws us to them, to see what's going on in our world. And...being a fallen world, where fallen man is trapped in the prison of sin (built by his/her own hand), well, bad news is going to be persistent. YET....God The Father, as He Has Throughout man's history, Heard and Responded to us as we cried out in this morass and stinking mass of misery.....God The Father Sent His One and Only Son, our Lord Jesus, to Bring us God's Good News! Our Lord Jesus Delivered His Notes of Love, Mercy, Forgiveness and Grace first hand. He also established God's Good News Network, which would be His Church, Christ's Body still Alive and Empowered by The Holy Spirit's Indwelling in each of His Household of HOPE, those who've Come to Him in Faith and Belief of Who He Is......
His Charge to us....Matthew 28:18-20 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."And Jesus Came And Said to them, “All Authority In Heaven And on earth Has Been Given To Me. GO Therefore And Make disciples Of All nations, Baptizing them In The Name of The Father And of The Son And of The Holy Spirit, Teaching them To Observe All That I Have Commanded you. And Behold, I Am With you Always, To The End of the age.”
Or, as The Holy Spirit Inspired Mark to record....
Mark 16:15 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."And Jesus Said to them, 'GO Into All the world And Proclaim The Gospel (Good News) To The whole creation."....
