PJP2 PROLOG POST 160814 - Psalm 46:7 (TLB/emphasis added/jaj)...."The Commander Of The Armies Of Heaven Is Here Among us. HE, The God of Jacob, Has Come To RESCUE us."....

Psalm 46:7 (CEV /emphasis added/jaj)...."The Lord Of Heavenly Forces Is With us!  The God of Jacob Is our Place Of Safety. Selah"....

Psalm 46:7 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."The Lord Of Hosts Is With us; The God of Jacob Is our Fortress. Selah"....

Psalm 46:7 (NIV/emphasis added/jaj)...." The Lord Almighty Is With us; The God of Jacob Is our Fortress."....

Psalm 46:7 (MSG/emphasis added/jaj)...."Jacob-wrestling God Fights For us, God-of-Angel-Armies Protects us."....

It is fascinating to contemplate and ponder in regards to when our Lord Jesus' Second Advent will actually happen.  Interesting to note, from historical readings, there were many times in the history of mankind we've believed HIS 2nd Return was imminent.  Definitely in the New Testament Times the 1st et al Century Church was convinced that Nero was the antichrist, and our Lord Jesus would come.  Marching through time, there's been other evil rulers et al that have arisen, once more drumming the cries that our Lord Jesus would be Coming Again....soon.

BUT, as I am Learning (again and again mind you), our Lord Jesus gave us Clear Guidance on Operation Dawn Patrol.....

First -  1 Kings 8:56(ESV/emphasis added/jaj)....“Blessed Be The Lord Who Has Given Rest to His people Israel, According To ALL That He Promised. NOT ONE WORD HAS failed OF ALL HIS GOOD PROMISE, Which He Spoke by Moses His servant."....

Second - Overall Signs and Signals to be Aware of......(Note:  For a full Reading, check out all of Matthew 24 / Also, of course Revelation).... Matthew 24:29-31(ESV)....“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."....

BUT BottomLine/UpFront (BLUF)....Matthew 24:36-44(ESV).... “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one left. Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into.....

....Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect."....

There you have it - Be Ready....or as the Boy Scouts would say...."Be Prepared"....

So.....Operation Dawn Patrol, for me, is just that - I do indeed watch, striving, with His Help, to Remain Awake to His Workings In, Around and Through me.....BUT BLUF....Being Ready/Being Prepared by Sharing His WORD is perhaps the BEST Action I can Take on Behalf of His Second Advents preparations.

My Prayer for us today would be to Share His WORD as Found in  Philippians 2:1-11 (ESV)...."So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."....
