Psalm 5:7 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."But I, Through The Abundance of Your Steadfast LOVE, Will Enter Your House.  I Will Bow Down Toward Your Holy Temple In The FEAR Of You."....

PJP2 PROLOG POST 160804 - Psalm 5:11-12 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."BUT Let All who Take Refuge in YOU Rejoice; Let them Ever Sing For JOY, And Spread YOUR Protection Over them, That those who LOVE Your Name May Exult In YOU.  For YOU Bless The Righteous, O Lord; You Cover him with Favor As With A Shield."....

I don't know how much you know about Anchors......Until I read Hebrews 6:13-20, I'd really not thought much about the Symbolism an anchor has for us, The Household of God in Faith.  A sturdy/solid Anchor (and connecting chain), especially for a larger sea-craft, is a 'MUST-HAVE', should the ship unfortunately get 'caught-up' in a storm.  The principle of The Anchor is that it stabilizes the ship, minimizes drifting, as well as forces the bow to stay 'turned-into-the-wave', all critical 'actions' should our Ship-of-LIFE become 'stranded' in a storm.

Psalm 5:11-12, our POWS for today says to me that The Holy Spirit Inspired the Psalmist to express their having stayed consistently connected to God's Anchor.

We too are Offered This Same Assurance.

He (our Lord Jesus Christ) is Our Only Anchor and HOPE.

My Prayer for us today would be - O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You for Being our Anchor, our Refuge, our Shield and Safe Harbor.  Lord Jesus, Especially Be God The Father's Anchor today for All those who as struggling in a storm of life and Need To Know You Are With them.  Holy Spirit, Help us, who at present are in calm waters, but KNOW as well that sooner (than later) we will face stormy waters, to TRUST You to Ever Be With us.  Father God, Thank You for Your Grace.  May we, Lord, Be A Reflection of Your Blessing Offered to All mankind.  In Your Loving and Holy Name, Lord Jesus, we Raise our Prayer and Praise....Amen/Amen....jaj
