Psalm 18:46 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."The Lord LIVES, And Blessed Be my ROCK, And Exalted Be The God of my Salvation"....

PJP2 PROLOG POST 1060802 -1 Timothy 6:11-16 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."BUT As For you, O man of God, FLEE these things (Note: See 1 Timothy 6:3-5, 9-10).  Pursue Righteousness, Godliness, Faith, Love, Steadfastness, Gentleness. Fight The Good Fight Of The FAITH.  Take Hold Of The Eternal LIFE To Which you were Called And About Which you Made The Good Confession In The Presence of many witnesses.  I charge you In The Presence Of God, Who Gives LIFE To All things, And of Christ Jesus, Who In HIS Testimony before Pontius Pilate Made The Good Confession, To Keep The Commandment unstained and free from reproach Until The Appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, Which HE Will Display At The Proper Time—HE WHO Is The Blessed And Only Sovereign, The KING of kings And LORD of lords, WHO Alone Has Immortality, WHO Dwells In unapproachable LIGHT, WHOM no one has ever Seen Or Can See.  To HIM Be Honor And Eternal Dominion.  Amen."

During these recent (and seemingly ongoing) days of challenge and tension, 'distress' as Psalm 18 describes it, how quickly we can (myself much included) drift into either a sense of paralysis, because regardless of what we try to do, nothing seems to illicit a positive result.  The other vector, if not Anchored on our HOPE in Him, could well be to shrug our shoulders, hunker-down and wait for the storm to pass us by.  Then, of course, there would be the world's suggestion - if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.  Ugh.

Yet, here (1 Timothy 6:11-16) we Hear The Holy Spirit Give Guidance that His Way is to....

"Pursue Righteousness, Godliness, Faith, Love, Steadfastness, Gentleness. Fight The Good Fight Of The FAITH.  Take Hold Of The Eternal LIFE....Keep The Commandment"....

Quite the tall order....

IF we strive to take His Mission On, within our own strength and capabilities.....absolutely NO way!
The Holy Spirit quickly has brought to mind....Philippians 4:13 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."I Can Do ALL Things THROUGH HIM WHO Strengthens me."....

AH-HA....And HE/HE Alone is our Way through this LIFE.....

So, my Prayer for us today would be.....O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You for Your Love, Mercy and Grace.  Lord Jesus, Encourage and Empower us as this world strives to drag us down or away from Following You.  Holy Spirit, Help us Ever Remember that You Are With us, even when we Can't See You.  Father God, O Lord, Please Do Send Your Son, our Savior....Soon.  We Lift Up our Prayers and Praise, Lord Jesus, In Your Holy Name....Amen and Amen....jaj
