I am Thankful that our Lord's Help, even in His Motivation of a non-believer to Aid His Efforts, Result in Bringing us JOY in Him and His Will Being Accomplished for our Greater Good. I am Thankful that He is Still Offering us the Very Same Help - May we Turn to Him, especially during these current days of tension and unrest.
For our Prayer of Thanks today, I would Offer Up our Lord Jesus' own Word on His Helper to us, His Holy Spirit....John 14:15-17, 26-27 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)....“IF you LOVE Me, you Will Keep My Commandments. AND I Will Ask The Father, AND HE Will Give you Another HELPER, To Be With you Forever, Even The Spirit Of TRUTH, Whom the world cannot receive, Because it neither sees HIM nor Knows HIM. You Know HIM, For HE Dwells With you AND Will Be IN you. BUT The HELPER, The Holy Spirit, Whom The Father Will Send In My NAME, HE Will Teach you ALL Things And Bring to your Remembrance ALL That I Have Said to you. PEACE I Leave With you; My PEACE I Give To you. NOT as the world gives Do I Give To you. LET Not your Hearts be troubled, Neither let them be afraid."....
Lord Jesus, May Your WORD Guide, Teach and Be Reflected Through us to our world around us. In Your Holy Name we Lift Up our Prayers.....Amen and Amen....jaj
