PJP2 THANKS TEXT 160709 -2 Chronicles 36:23 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."'Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, ‘The Lord, The God of Heaven, Gas Given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and HE Has Charged me To Build HIM A House at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever is among you of All HIS people, May The Lord his God be with him.  Let him go up.’”

I am Thankful that our Lord Jesus Employs clearly both Members of the Household of The Faith, as well as those who from our view have no clear connection with Him.  Yet, here, as we see in 2 Chronicles 36:23, God's Employing Cyrus, King of Persia, to stand up and motivate God's people (then in Exile in Babylonia/Persia) to Return to HIM.  I am Thankful for our Lord Jesus is STILL doing the very same today.  Even in the midst of all the current tragic violence ongoing throughout our world - I Know our Lord Jesus is Here, Waiting for us to Turn To Him for His Peace, Comfort and Guidance as we move forward.

My Prayer of Thanks for us today would simply be - Lord Jesus we Do Thank You for Your Love, Light, Mercy and Grace.  Help us, Holy Spirit, to Ever Turn First to You.  Father God, as we face yet another challenge within our communities, May Your Wisdom, Understanding and Peace be with us to Look First To You for Solutions and Way Ahead.  In Your Holy Name, Lord Jesus, we Lift Up these Prayers....Amen/Amen....jaj
