Psalm 136:1-3 (ESV/Emphasis added/jaj)...."Give Thanks To The Lord, For HE Is GOD, For HIS Steadfast LOVE Endures Forever.  Give Thanks To The GOD of gods, For HIS Steadfast LOVE Endures Forever. Give Thanks To The LORD of lords, For HIS Steadfast LOVE Endures Forever"....

PJP2 PROLOG POST 160731 - Job 42:1-6 (ESV/Emphasis added/jaj)...."Then Job answered The Lord and said: 'I Know That YOU Can DO All Things, And That No Purpose of YOURS Can be thwarted. ‘Who is this that hides Counsel without Knowledge?’  Therefore I have uttered what I did NOT Understand, Things Too Wonderful for me, which I did NOT Know. ‘HEAR, And I Will Speak; I Will QUESTION you, AND you Make It Known To (ANSWER) ME.’ I had Heard of YOU By The Hearing of the ear, BUT NOW my eye SEES YOU; Therefore I Despise myself, And REPENT in dust and ashes.'”....

Note:  This Passage Of the WORD, Select (POWS) is indicative of Job's AH-HA moment....Job comes to grips with The FACT That..."And HE (God) and HE ALONE" is The God of All!....

As I was Pondering With The Holy Spirit this morning, focused on His Inspired Book of Job, He Posed A Thought with regards to Job Chapters 38-41.  If you aren't familiar with Job 38-41, these are the Chapters in which God The Father Questions Job over a wide-range of Topics of Increasing Intensity as YAHWEH Progresses.  The Thought I Heard The Holy Spirit suggest is - Perhaps these four Chapters are Reflective of what our turn before God's Throne will be like on The Day of The Lord?  Perhaps, in some respects, This was a Bit of God's Intent as He Inspired His writer of Job to Record His WORD....

Hmmmm...AH-HA....

Then He Shared a Second Thought.....As we read Job's Reply to God's Inquisition.....I have to admit I would readily stand in Job's Shoes with a similar reply had I been the one facing this Battery of Queries from The Almighty....In particular Job's final response....."Therefore I Despise myself, And REPENT in dust and ashes."....Isn't this the Truth for us all?  This is also an "AH-HA" moment for me.....this is maybe where we get our understanding of why when mourning we realize we are 'dust to dust and ashes to ashes'....Just a thought

AH-HA....

The LAST AH-HA for today's PJP2 PROLOG 160731.....As we Study Job, it is quite fascinating that it would appear Job is fully facing these challenges on his own.  His 'Three Amigos' are of little to no help.  Elihu the Younger's impassioned Defense of God is commendable indeed.  BUT when we get to Chapters 38-41, YAHWEH's Full-Court-Press on Job is evident, there's no-one standing-up for Job....Eliphar, Bildad and Zophar finally figure out the best thing to do is to keep their pie-holes shut.  Elihu, as well, is not mentioned.  Nope, Chapters 38-41 is God and Job and that's about the size of it.

My AH-HA moment fast forwards to our own scenarios - Unlike Job, who had not had the opportunity to Surrender And Accept our Lord Jesus as His Lord and Savior - we, By God's Grace, DO have an Advocate, Who Will Stand With us, In Front and Behind of us, and Even CLOTHE us with Himself as we Stand Before God The Father's Throne.....

AH-HA!

Thus, my Prayer for us today would be to Share His Holy Spirit's Inspired WORD as Recorded in 1 John 2:1-6 (ESV/Emphasis & paraphrase added/jaj)...."My little children, I am writing These Things to you So That you May NOT sin.  BUT IF anyone Does sin (and Team we all will stumble/jaj), we Have An ADVOCATE With The Father, Jesus Christ The Righteous.  HE Is The Propitiation For our sins, AND NOT For ours ONLY BUT Also For the sins Of The Whole World. And By This we Know That we Have Come To KNOW HIM, IF we KEEP HIS Commandments. Whoever says “I Know HIM” BUT Does NOT KEEP HIS Commandments is a liar, And The TRUTH Is NOT in him, BUT whoever KEEPS HIS WORD, In him Truly The LOVE Of God IS Perfected.  By This we May KNOW That we Are In HIM: whoever Says he Abides In HIM Ought To WALK In The Same WAY In Which HE WALKED."

AH-HA....May we Read and Heed HIS WORD.
