PJP2 PROLOG POST 160725 - Job 16:19-21 (NIV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Even Now my Witness Is In Heaven; my Advocate Is On High. My Intercessor Is my Friend as my eyes pour out tears to God; On Behalf of a man He Pleads With God As One Pleads for a Friend."....

I am always fascinated by the Prophecy the Holy Spirit weaves into His Inspired WORD.  In today's PROLOG POST (Job 16:19-21) we see Job making a clear Prophetic Reference to both our Lord Jesus, and His Holy Spirit.  Centuries before our Lord Jesus would Walk Among us as one of us, here's Job Sounding The WORD of God The Father's Plan.....

Let us Be Still and Hear The Holy Spirit Expound on these thoughts of our Witness, our Advocate, our Intercessor and our Friend.....

John 14:26...."But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you."....

Romans 8:16...."The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God"....

Romans 8:26-27...."Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God."....

John 14:1-3....“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also."....

John 15:12-17....“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. These things I command you, so that you will love one another."....

Then there's our Lord Jesus' Prayer of Intercession found in John Chapter 17....well worth the read.

BLUF:  Job points to, and The Holy Spirit corroborates that....Even Now our Witness Is In Heaven; our Advocate Is On High. Our Intercessor Is our Friend, even as our eyes pour out tears to God The Father; On Behalf of ALL mankind He Pleads With God The Father As One Pleads for a Friend.

My Prayer for us today would simply be - O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, help us to Be Still and Know that our Advocate, our Witness, our Intercessor, our Friend, Your Son and Your Holy Spirit Plead for us this very moment.  And in Your Grace, Father God, You Have Adopted us as Your Own children.  May we Ever Reflect Your Love, Mercy and Light.  In Your Name, Lord Jesus, we Raise our Prayers and Praise....Amen and Amen....jaj
