PJP2 PROLOG POST 160723 - Job 7:17 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."What Is man, That YOU Make So Much of him, And That YOU Set YOUR Heart on him,"....

It is quite interesting to me to see the same question asked, albeit in different perspectives, BUT bottom-line/up-front our Lord's Response Is The Same each time.....

So here we have Job posing The Question ("God", Job's saying, "What really is mankind that YOU, The Creator OF All have Chosen to make us the Center of Your Focus and Love?")

The Holy Spirit Inspired David to Ask The Question as he Writes in Psalm 8:3-5 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."When I Look At Your heavens, The Work Of Your Fingers, the moon and the stars, Which You Have Set In Place.....What Is man That YOU Are Mindful of him, And the son of man That YOU CARE for him?  Yet YOU Have Made him a little lower than the heavenly beings And Crowned him with glory and honor."....

Here's God The Father's Answer..... John 3:16 (ESV)...."For God so LOVED the world, That He Sent His Only SON, that whosoever BELIEVES In HIM shall NOT perish, BUT Have Everlasting LIFE"....If you'd permit me.....let's paraphrase this just a tad.....And God Said...."_____(fill in your name), I LOVE you, yes you, SO MUCH - Why I Sent My Son, Jesus to Rebuild our Relationship.  IF you will just BELIEVE In Him, Then the End Result Will Be Everlasting LIFE - you and Me Forever!".....

How cool is that?  I mean if we slip into Job (and his three 'friends') logic, at that point of Job's story, we could readily go down the slippery slope of woe is me, missing that God's Love is Present regardless of what's going on all around, or within us.  Please note I am in no way dismissing that these challenges we face are not difficult, I fully understand.

Yet may we keep in mind, as His Holy Spirit Inspired Paul to write to the Believers in Rome....{Romans 5:6-11 (ESV/emphasis & paraphrase added/jaj)}...."For While we were still weak, At The Right Time Christ Died for (us) the ungodly.  For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— BUT God Shows His LOVE for us In That While we were still sinners, Christ Died For us (you and me).  Since, Therefore, we Have Now Been Justified By His Blood, Much More Shall we Be SAVED By Him From The Wrath Of God.  For IF while we were enemies we Were Reconciled To God By The Death Of His SON, Much More, NOW That we Are Reconciled, Shall we Be SAVED By His LIFE.  More Than That, we Also Rejoice In God THROUGH our Lord Jesus Christ, THROUGH Whom we Have NOW Received Reconciliation."....

Thus my Prayer for us today would be a Paraphrase of Prayer and Praise from His Holy Spirit's WORD to His Psalmist as Recorded in Psalm 34:11-14 (ESV/emphasis & paraphrase added/jaj)....O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, May we As Your children, Come and Listen To Your WORD of Love, Mercy and Grace.  Holy Spirit, Teach us the Appropriate Understanding of Faithfully reflecting Esteem/Exaltation to You, Adoration/Awe and Reverence/Respect in All we Say, Think and Do.  Lord Jesus, we are Yours.  Father God, each of us, in our own thoughts, Desires LIFE, and we Love to Share with You many days.  Lord Jesus, Guide us That we May See Your GOOD among us.  Holy Spirit, Protect and Keep our tongue from speaking evil.  Father God May our Word Ever Be Filled with Your TRUTH and not share any deceit.  Lord Jesus, Open our Inner Eye and Turn us away from evil.  Holy Spirit, Inspire and Encourage us to Always Do Your GOOD.  Father God, Instill in us Your Desire to SEEK PEACE.  Lord Jesus, Empower us to ever Pursue You and Your WAY.  In Your Holy and Precious Name, Lord Jesus, we Raise our Prayers and Praise....Amen and Amen....jaj
