PJP2 PROLOG 160721 PROLOG Focus - Esther 4:14.....Topic:  BLESS/BLESS

Revelation 7:11-12 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."And All The Angels Were Standing Around The Throne And Around The Elders And The Four Living Creatures, And they Fell on their faces Before The Throne And Worshiped God, saying, 'Amen!  Blessing And Glory And Wisdom And Thanksgiving And Honor And Power And Might BE To our God Forever And Ever!  Amen.'”....

PJP2 PROLOG POST 160721 - Esther 4:14 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."For IF you keep silent At This Time, RELIEF And DELIVERANCE Will Rise for the Jews From Another Place, BUT you and your father's house will perish.  AND who Knows Whether you Have Not Come to the kingdom For Such A Time As This?”

The Holy Spirit, today, Guided me towards His Focus of BLESS/BLESS (By the Lord's Eternal Son our Savior....Be the Lord's Ever-present Source and Sound).  As I have just finished reading through The Book of Esther, I was asking Him to help me with this Pondering with this BLESS/BLESS magnifying glass focusing my thoughts.

So, The Spirit brought me to Esther 4:14, sort of a pinnacle moment in the Book of Esther, by the way.....IF you've not read Esther, I would strongly encourage you to - it is only ten chapters, a quick read, and indeed full of intrigue, drama, twisted plots and a Great Ending.  Oh, also, amazingly, YAHWEH is NEVER mentioned in Esther.....BUT just because His Name is NOT printed in the Holy Spirit's Inspired Writing in Esther, you can Clearly See God's Fingerprints ALL over these happenings.  (Also there's a great movie (2006) - "One Night With A King"....based on Esther's Story....)

Sorry, I digress....So, the BLESS/BLESS principle is clearly demonstrated via Esther's Story....Orphaned Jewish Girl, BLESSED by being Raised by a Loving Uncle (Mordecai)....BLESSED by being Selected to Be King X's next Queen.....BLESSED by all the perks that come with being The Queen of King X.....BLESSED to Learn The TRUTH of evil Haman and his plan of destruction of the Jews.....

So, Esther, like us, has a choice.....She could simply continue to accept and use these BLESSINGS, with no consideration of Helping others....or.....RISK it all to Do The Right Thing....

Enter The Holy Spirit's Guidance to us.....1 Peter 3:9 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Do Not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, BUT On The Contrary, BLESS, For To THIS you Were Called, That you May Obtain a BLESSING."....

Mordecai sort of gives Queen Esther a similar response.... "AND who Knows Whether you Have Not Come to the kingdom For Such A Time As This?”  (Remember I did say 'sort of'.... ;) )

Thus, brings it back to us....I Know very well that All The BLESSINGS The Good Lord has Poured into my Life has a Purpose, His Purpose, which is Summed Up in The Lord Jesus' Command to us to "LOVE one another".  I will also share, I know I can (and must) do a much better job at seeing that through.

In these current dark days that are swirling all around us - let us NOT lose HOPE, and let us FOLLOW His Guidance - meaning, Let us, By His Grace, Overcome evil WITH HIS GOOD.

My Prayer for us today would be - Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You, Lord, for Your Love, Mercy and Grace.  Lord Jesus, we Are Amazed at The BLESSINGS You Have Lavished upon us.  Holy Spirit, Open our Inner Minds and Hearts to Be Aware of who, how and when You Are Guiding us To Be A BLESSING on another.  Father God, May we Ever Reflect Your Nature of Love and Kindness towards all.  Lord Jesus, Encourage and Empower us to Be A BLESSING, Your BLESSING to those in True Need.  In Your Holy Name, Lord Jesus, we Pray.   Amen/Amen....jaj
