Nehemiah 9:5 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Then the Levites, Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said, 'Stand Up And Bless The Lord your God From everlasting to everlasting.  Blessed Be Your Glorious NAME, Which Is Exalted Above ALL Blessing And Praise.'"....

PJP2 PROLOG POST 160717 - Nehemiah 9:19-20 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."YOU In YOUR Great Mercies Did NOT forsake them in the wilderness.  The Pillar Of Cloud To Lead them In The Way Did NOT depart from them by day, NOT The Pillar Of Fire by night To LIGHT For them The Way By Which they Should Go.  YOU Gave YOUR Good Spirit To Instruct them And Did NOT withhold YOUR Manna from their mouth And Gave them Water for their thirst."....

I am simply blown away by God's RAD Faithfulness.

As we're reading through Nehemiah, Chapter 9 of the same is an awesome summation of God's Continued Grace to His Chosen people, even with the glaring fact that they had (see Nehemiah 9:16) become 'arrogant....stiff-necked....disobedient....rebellious....idolatrous' in their response and attitude toward YAHWEH.

Pondering this, I Heard The Holy Spirit Mention - "So Jeff, are you any different?"  I did not sense Him being Judgmental, or Harsh with this Question - No, as the character Jesse Stone would say to his 'shrink...."I sense a Parable.".....And Oh How Well I can see in myself the challenges and straying that are listed as problem areas for the Israelites in Nehemiah 9:16.

BUT Praise our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for He Has Cleared The Path and The Way for us to Reconcile Back to God The Father's Loving Grace!

Then The Spirit Brought to my attention.....Isaiah 43:18-19 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj).... "Remember Not The Former Things, Nor Consider The Things of old.  BEHOLD, I AM Doing A New Thing; NOW IT Springs Forth, Do you Not Perceive IT?  I Will Make A Way In the Wilderness And Rivers In The Desert."....From here He Guided me to....2 Corinthians 5:17 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Therefore, IF anyone Is IN Christ, he Is A New Creation. The old has passed away; BEHOLD, The NEW Has Come.".....

To wrap this up today, The Spirit just Mentioned that the challenge we humans have is we can NOT see what God The Father Sees.  Meaning, for example, in Nehemiah Chapter 9, God's RAD Faithfulness is NOT based on us, or our feeble attempts at faithfulness - His RAD Faithfulness is BASED on HIM and HIS Eternal Capacity/Capability to Love, Forgive and Carry-us onward.  And, here's the BLUF (Bottom-Line/Up-Front) - He Sees beyond our arrogance et al, He Sees our Heart (as He did with Abram/Abraham) and He Knows What Truly Lies in our Heart of Hearts, that is our Longing-Desire to Be Reconciled to/with Him in a Right Relationship with Him.

Wow.

Thus, my Prayer for us today - Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You for Your Loving Mercy, Compassion and RAD Faithfulness.  Lord Jesus, Please Ever Remind us, even as our world today seems to be spinning further and further out of control, YOU ARE WITH us.  Holy Spirit, Calm our weary and worried Hearts.  Father God, Empower and Strengthen us to Ever and Always Look First To YOU.  Lord Jesus, Encourage us to Continue to Be Your Witness and to TRUST and KNOW That Your WORD Still Has The Power to Transform even the hardest of cases.  Father God, Open our Inner Eyes that we Can See You Are STILL Doing A New Thing!  We Raise our Prayers and Praise in Your Holy Name....Amen/Amen....jaj
