2 Thessalonians 3:18 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."The GRACE Of our Lord Jesus Christ Be With you all."....

PJP2 PROLOG POST 160711 - 2 Thessalonians 3:13 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."As For you, brothers, Do NOT grow weary In Doing GOOD."....

GOOD....(God's Opportunities {for us to} Observe/Obey {Him} Daily).... :) I do LOVE Acronyms.....

The context of 2 Thessalonians 3:13 is quite interesting - it would seem that the original Thessalonia Believers had come to a point where they were pretty convinced The Lord Jesus' 2nd Advent was going to happen, like, yesterday!  So, with that concept in place, they determined the best course of action was to stop everything and simply Watch for His Return.

Yikes!

Consequently, God's GOOD Works amongst His children were going undone....

Yet, this flies directly in the face of what our Lord Jesus told us....Matthew 24:36, 42-44, 46 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)....“BUT Concerning That DAY And Hour NO ONE KNOWS, Not Even The Angels of heaven, NOT The Son, BUT The Father ONLY.....Therefore, Stay Awake, For you Do Not Know On What Day your Lord Is Coming. BUT Know THIS, That IF The Master Of The House Had Known In What Part Of The Night The Thief Was Coming, he Would Have Stayed Awake and would not have let his house be broken into.  Therefore you Also Must Be Ready, For The Son of Man Is Coming at an hour you do Not expect.....Blessed Is THAT servant whom His Master Will Find So Doing When HE Comes."....

Thus, The Point I am Hearing The Holy Spirit Share with us today is, especially in Light of All the Challenges and Chaos we have witness of late - Let us NOT Grow Weary in Doing GOOD.  In fact, my Prayer for us today would be to offer up The Holy Spirit's Inspired WORD to the Apostle John as he Writes.....  

1 John 5:1-5 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Everyone Who Believes That Jesus IS The Christ Has Been Born of God, And everyone who LOVES The Father LOVES whoever Has Been Born of Him.  By This we Know That we LOVE the children of God, When we LOVE God And OBEY His Commandments.  For THIS Is The LOVE of God, That we KEEP His Commandments.  And His Commandments Are NOT burdensome.  For everyone who Has Been Born of God Overcomes the world.  AND This IS The Victory That Has Overcome the world—our FAITH. Who Is It That Overcomes the world Except the one who Believes That Jesus IS The Son of God?"....

O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, we Lift This Up as our Prayer - Help us to Better Know You.  Empower and Encourage us to TRUST You and Stand Firm in our FAITH of You.  In Your Son's Holy Name we Pray....Amen/Amen....jaj
