PJP2 PROLOG POST 160703 - 2 Chronicles 16:8-9 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."(God Said via His Seer)....'Were NOT the Ethiopians and the Libyans a huge army with very many chariots and horsemen?  YET Because you RELIED On The Lord, He Gave them into your hand.  For The Eyes Of The Lord Run To And Fro Throughout the whole earth, To GIVE Strong Support to those whose HEART Is Blameless Toward HIM.  You have done foolishly in this, for from now on you will have wars.'”

"YET Because You RELIED On The Lord"....

Oh how easy this sounds, and Yet I know from my own life's experience, this is NOT an easy Task to accomplish.

Why is that?

Why is it that we so readily slip into the mode of, "Don't worry Lord, I have GOT this.  Stand Back and watch me work."

And then the bottom-drops out and all Hades is unleashed.....

Some may be wondering....Ok, Jeffy, how you pulling this into a Word of Encouragement?  Sounds pretty downward spiraling at the moment....

Hang with me for just one more second.....

God's Secret is right here in 2 Chronicles 16:8-9...."For The Eyes Of The Lord Run To And Fro Throughout the whole earth, To GIVE Strong Support to those whose HEART Is Blameless Toward HIM."....

BaBaam....there it is.....when we find ourselves reeling from the foolishness we've brought upon ourselves.....All we need do is STOP, TURN towards HIM, Ask Forgiveness and Surrender it All Back To HIM.....

Then Stand Back and Let The God of All Creation Do His Work.  Doesn't mean we won't fail, for indeed in our own frail human strength we will fail, consistently.  BUT Does Mean, from What I Hear His Holy Spirit Sharing, On His Eternal Level, HE Will Ever Deliver us, and HE Will Ever Bless us With His Mercy, Love and Grace.

What More Treasure Could we Ever Want?

Thus my PJP2 PROLOG Prayer 160703 for us today would be a Paraphrase of Prayer and Praise based on His Holy Spirit's Inspired Word found in Deuteronomy 30:1-3 (ESV)....O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You for Your Amazing and Loving Grace.  Lord Jesus, when All of These Things in Life Come Upon us, both Your Blessing And The Curse we draw to ourselves by our foolish/selfishness, May You Call to our minds Your Truth and Your Grace.  Holy Spirit, When we find ourselves in the depths of the Storm, or in the Wadis of the Deserts we've lost ourselves in, Where You, O Lord our God, Have Driven us to Help us Find You in our lost state - Draw us Back to Return to You.  Father God, By Your Grace and The Sacrifice of Your Son, our Lord Jesus, we Are Your Adopted children.  Help us, O Lord, To Better Obey Your Voice.  Holy Spirit, Instill in our Hearts and Souls Your Commands.  Father God Empower and Strengthen us to Seek You With ALL our Heart And With ALL our Soul.  Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, we Know That You Are Faithful and True to Your Promise.  When we Seek You as Stated, THEN You, O Lord our God, Will RESTORE us.  O Lord, do Have MERCY Upon us.  Gather us, Father God, bring us Back to You once again.  Lord Jesus, May we Be Once More the Sheep of Your Flock, Gathered in from the fields of our self-distraction and destruction.  Holy Spirit, Help us to Reflect You in our Lives and Draw those who Do Not Know You to Come Home in You.  In Your Holy Name, O Lord, we raise our Prayers and Praise.....Amen and Amen....jaj
