PJP2 THANKS TEXT 160624 - 1 Chronicles 21:24 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."But King David said to Ornan/Araunah, 'No, BUT I will buy them (threshing floor et al) For The Full Price.  I Will NOT Take for The Lord What is yours, Nor Offer burnt offerings That Cost me nothing.'”

I am Thankful for The Holy Spirit's Foreshadowing of God The Father's Expression of His Ultimate Intercession for us, Revealing that He Himself Would Pay The FULL Price for our Salvation.  I am also Thankful for David's Example for us that our Surrender to The Lord Jesus as our Savior, and our Obedience of His Guidance in our Lives is Worth the Cost.  Indeed an interesting paradox.....God's Free Gift of Mercy, Grace and Salvation IS Free to us AND we Willingly "Give IT ALL" to "Buy The Pearl of Great Price".....

My Prayer of Thanks for us today - O Lord Jesus, Thank You that You Willingly and Freely Sacrificed Yourself as God The Father's Ultimate Intercession on our behalf.  Holy Spirit, Thank You for Your Teaching and Example through David.  Father God, Help us to Be like David.  Help us to also Be Ready and Willing to Give It All to You.  Lord Jesus, May our Lives Ever Be a Reflection of You and Your Grace, especially to those who Do Not Yet Know You as Lord and Savior.  In Your Precious Name we Pray....Amen/Amen....jaj
