PJP2 THANKS 160614 THANKS Focus - 2 Kings 19:14-16....

Psalm 116:17-19 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."I Will Offer To You The Sacrifice of Thanksgiving And Call On The Name Of The Lord.  I Will Pay my Vows To The Lord In The Presence of All His people, In The Courts Of The House Of The Lord, In your Midst, O Jerusalem.  Praise The Lord!"....

PJP2 THANKS TEXT 160614 - 2 Kings 19:14-16 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."King Hezekiah received the King of Assyria's letter from the hand of the messengers and read it; And Hezekiah went up To The House Of The Lord and spread it Before The Lord.  And Hezekiah Prayed Before The Lord and said:  'O Lord, The God of Israel, Enthroned Above the cherubim, You Are The God, You ALONE (Are God), Of All the kingdoms of the earth; You Have Made Heaven and earth. Incline Your Ear, O Lord, And Hear; Open Your Eyes, O Lord, And See; And Hear the words of Sennacherib, which he has sent to mock The Living God.'"....

Once more, the set of POWS for today's PJP2 THANKS TEXT 160614 (2 Kings 19:14-16) may seem slightly askew when considering we're talking about what we are Thankful for.  I appreciate your patience.....There's three Concepts The Holy Spirit's Sharing with me of which I am so very Thankful....(1) Coming to God First in All Circumstances; (2) YAYA AG; (3) He Listens.....

I am Thankful for our Lord's use of King Hezekiah as a positive example for us - time and again Hezekiah consistently comes to God The Father in Prayer.  May we Learn, Lord, from Hezekiah's example.  I am Thankful for YAYA AG...."You and You Alone Are GOD"!  The entire Scripture from Genesis 1:1 through Revelation 22:21 - every Word, Sentence, Paragraph and Book of His Word Declares that He and He Alone is our Lord and Savior.  Lastly, as Hezekiah Asks The Lord to Listen - Psalm 4:3 (ESV)...."BUT Know That The Lord Has Set Apart the godly for Himself; The Lord HEARS When I Call To Him."....

Thus my Prayer of Thanks for us today would be - Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You!  Thank You, Lord Jesus, for the many examples of the men and women of Prayer that You Share with us Through Your Word.  Holy Spirit, Help us to be people of Prayer as well.  Father God, Forgive us when we stumble.  Help Stand us Back Up, Brush us off, and Set us Back on Your Narrow Way of Life, Light, Mercy and Grace.  In Your Precious Name we Pray....Amen and Amen....jaj
