Psalm 97:12 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Rejoice In The Lord, O you Righteous, AND Give Thanks To His Holy NAME!"....

PJP2 PROLOG POST 160628 - 2 Chronicles 1:10 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Give me Now Wisdom and Knowledge To Go Out And Come In before this people, for who can Govern this people of Yours, which is so great?”

Let's ponder on this for just a moment....capture the scene....We're Solomon, the young, now confirmed new King of Israel.  We just finished presenting Offerings at the Holy Bronze Altar at God's Tent of Meeting - The Bronze Altar and Tent of Meeting that all the old ancient stories tell of Moses, by God's Grace and Guidance, led the children of Israel by during their 40-years of wandering in the desert.....As we lay upon our mat, perhaps sleeping, perhaps praying, perhaps just overwhelmed by all the recent events.....YAHWEH, The Creator of All (both seen and unseen) has just entered into our thoughts.

Think about the enormity of this - Here HE IS!!!!.....we've heard of HIS Visitations with Abram/Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Joshua and all the Judges and Prophets.  Our earthly father, King David, Shared with us story after story, Psalm after Psalm of How God Almighty Was Present in every experience, Good and not so good.

And, Behold, NOW HE IS With us, asking us....."Ask for Whatever you Want ME to Give you"....

Ok.....what do we say?

Team, I'll be quite honest, I can't even begin to think, offered a Fully Blank Check by our Lord Jesus that my first thought would be for Wisdom and Knowledge.  I could see myself blurting out, "Wow, Lord, This Is SO COOL.....let's see, I just happen to have a list....."  Or, I'd be stunned into silence, not able to clearly Think of What Best to Ask for.....

Perhaps God's Holy Spirit, though not Mentioned in these POWS, is at Work in Solomon's Thoughts.  It would seem, from the WORD Context, that Solomon was very much focused on Seeking, Inquiring and Heeding The Vector The Lord was placing him on.

Thus we come to The Point I'm Hearing The Holy Spirit make to me this morning - Whenever, regardless if we are just beginning down His Pathway, or we've reached the end of that previous road and are now looking to God's Next in our lives 'transitions'...."Seek First The Kingdom of God And HIS Righteousness....AND All These Things Shall Be Added unto you"....(Matthew 6:33).

Solomon did just that.....May we Read and Heed God's WORD as He Applies His Teaching to our own Life with Him.

My Prayer for us today, simply would be - Lord Jesus, Thank You for Your Amazing Love and Grace.  Holy Spirit, Ever Be With us in each Moment of each Day.  Father God, May we, Like Solomon, Be Open to Your Wisdom and Understanding as we move through This Life You've Made for us.  Lord Jesus, May we Ever Be a Reflection of You and Your Gift of Salvation and Redemption for those who Do Not Know You as Lord and Savior.  Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, we Lift Up our Prayers in Your Holy Name....Help us Lord to Read and Heed Your WORD...Amen and Amen....jaj
