PJP2 PROLOG 160618 PROLOG Focus - 1 Chronicles 4:9-10....

Psalm 104:33 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."I Will Sing To The Lord As Long as I Live; I Will Sing Praise To my God While I Have Being."....

PJP2 PROLOG POST 160618 -1 Chronicles 4:9-10 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Jabez Was More Honorable than his brothers; And his mother called his name Jabez, saying, 'Because I bore him in pain.'  Jabez Called Upon The God of Israel, saying, 'Oh That You Would Bless me And Enlarge my border, AND That Your Hand Might Be With me, And That You Would Keep me From harm So That it might Not bring me pain!'  And God Granted what he Asked."

The Prayer of Jabez gained quite a bit of recognition a few years ago.  I know there's been discussion back and forth as to if this is a part of the 'name it and claim it' approach to our Relationship with God The Father.  BUT, for today's PJP2 PROLOG 160618, that's not The Vector I Hear The Holy Spirit Guiding me towards.

As I've been pondering on 1 Chronicles 4:9-10, I've been Praying as to What was Jabez really asking?  Why was he Calling Upon God The Father to Bless, Enlarge, Be With and Keep him?

Well, one Key Word that continues to strike me about him is The Holy Spirit calls Jabez, "Honorable".

So, perhaps Jabez, as a man of YAHWEH, is Praying this Prayer so that he can Better Reflect to Those both of The Family of Faith and those who Do Not Know God The Father that God is Indeed Engaged and Desiring a Relationship with them as well.  Also, Perhaps, Jabez's Plan is to Employ God's Blessings as his way to Bless others via God's Blessing him.

Today's Point:  I am Thinking (and Hearing) the Same is True for me - I do Believe The Lord Blesses us that we Might Be a Blessing to others.

So, don't hear what I'm not saying - not saying, or encouraging folks to start Lifting Up the Prayer of Jabez as a 'way to get more'.....Nope....What I am saying is (and my Prayer for us today).....

Lord Jesus, we Are Thankful for All The Blessings You Pour into our Lives each Moment of each Day.  Holy Spirit, Guide and Teach us to Be A Blessing to others, that they May Turn To You.  Father God, May we Ever Reflect Your Love and Grace, especially to those who Do Not Yet Know You.  In Your Precious Name we Lift Up our Prayers....Amen/Amen....jaj
