PJP2 PROLOG 160617 PROLOG Focus - 2 Corinthians 10:3-6....

Psalm 30:4 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Sing Praises To The Lord, O you His saints, AND Give Thanks To His Holy Name."....

PJP2 PROLOG POST 160617 - 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."For Though we Walk in the flesh, we Are NOT Waging War according to the flesh.  For The Weapons Of our Warfare Are NOT of the flesh BUT Have Divine Power To Destroy strongholds.  We Destroy arguments And Every lofty opinion raised against The Knowledge of God, And Take Every Thought Captive To OBEY Christ, Being Ready to punish every disobedience, When your Obedience Is Complete."....

During this time-frame between Memorial Day and The 4th of July, I often reflect on the sacrifices that have been made for us both by our Veterans that have gone before us, and then by our Lord Jesus, God's Ultimate Good Soldier of His Cross.

These ponderings always lead me back to Two Truths, which is Where I Hear The Holy Spirit Leading me in this PJP2 PROLOG POST 160617.....Truth (1): As Soldiers of His Light/Members of His Family of Faith - We Are Locked-In, during this Lifetime in God's Conflict of Spiritual Warfare with the forces of darkness (FOD); Truth (2):  God's Victory IS Assured - our Lord Jesus, Once and For All Time, Defeated and "Destroyed" the FOD's stronghold of death by His Ultimate Victory Won upon His Cross AND His Resurrection!

The Conclusion I Hear The Holy Spirit Sharing is this:  Regardless, Team, of what FOD strongholds may still be lurking around in our lives - Ever Remember that He That Is IN us IS GREATER than any FOD stronghold, period!  (Check out 1 John 4:4).

I can readily relate - I know that the FOD have been striving to kick me in the shins of late.  But Praise God, He Is Faithful and True, AND He Is our Sure Rock and Shield, our Strong Tower to which we Run To and Are Ever Safe in Him.

My Prayer for us today - Lord Jesus, Thank You for Helping us Put On God The Father's Whole Armor.  Holy Spirit, May we Ever Bring Every Thought Captive to You.  Father God, Thank You for Your Forgiveness when we stumble.  Lord Jesus, Continue to Teach us to Better Understand Your Arsenal of Spiritual Weapons that both Protect us and Defeat the forces of darkness.  Holy Spirit, May Your Light Shine as a Beacon of Hope within us.  Father God, May we Ever Share Your Gospel of Peace and Mercy to those who Do Not Yet Know You as Lord and Savior.  In Your Holy Name, Lord Jesus, we Raise our Prayers and Praise....Amen/Amen....jaj
