I am so Very Thankful God's Word to us Is A WORD of GRACE. I am Thankful God Employs an example like King David and Shimei Gerason's interaction. I am Thankful that King David, who had every right to punish Shimei, BUT did NOT. I am Thankful that God's Grace and Forgiveness to us goes well beyond David's forgiveness and grace.
Thus my Prayer of Thanks for us today....O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You for Your Loving Grace and Forgiveness. Lord Jesus, Help us to Learn from the Lessons of David and Shimei. Holy Spirit, Lead us Not to be like Shimei, who initially 'threw rocks' at Your Plan. Father God, Encourage us, Though, When we ARE like Shimei, to come to our senses and KNOW, Like David, You Are Ever Ready to Extend Your Grace and Forgive us. Lord Jesus, Help us Ever To Reflect Your Grace and Forgiveness, especially to those who Do Not Know You as their Personal Lord and Savior. We Pray all these Prayers in Your Holy Name...Amen/Amen...jaj
