PJP2 PROLOG 160513 PROLOG Focus - 1 Samuel 23:26....

Psalm 9:11 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Sing Praises To The Lord, Who Sits Enthroned in Zion!Tell among the peoples His Deeds!"....

PJP2 PROLOG POST 160513 -1 Samuel 23:26 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Saul went on one side of the mountain, And David and his men on the other side of the mountain.  And David was hurrying to get away from Saul.  As Saul and his men were closing in on David and his men to capture them"....

Picture with me for a moment, like we're watching a movie....The camera starts out with a wide pan-out shot of a remote mountain in the Desert of Maon.  There's fairly flat, clear ground on either side of the mountain.  Off in the distance on the far-right side of the screen, we can see dust rising, as if there's a mass of something moving away from the camera down the right-side of the distant mountain landscape.  As the scene unfolds, we see a distant dust clouds on the left-side with specks of again a large mass of something moving towards the camera.....

The clarity final sets-in, there's two armies, the one on the right is much larger, perhaps even better equipped than the smaller army moving down the left side of the mountain range.

What a clear picture of God's Grace and even His Sense of Humor.....

First I Hear His Holy Spirit Sharing, even with our enemy circling around us, God's Grace is EVER Present - even at times sending our enemy down one-side of the mountain, while we go round the other side away from the foe.  I see that as His Grace.  We are not in the least deserving of His Aid or Help in these battles - BUT Because of His Eternal Steadfast Love, our Lord Jesus is EVER assisting us, even though most of the time we're most likely unaware of that.

Second, I also Hear The Holy Spirit chuckling a bit.  I mean, really, it is a funny scene.  You have David's Task Force 600 (DTF 600) humping a forced march as fast as they can to get away from Saul's Army of Israel.  You have got Mad King Saul cracking the whip for his Crew to catch up with DTF 600.  Makes me wonder how long the two armies would have ripped around 'Mount Maon' before one of them figured out to stand still....the other would catch up....

But BLUF, God's Grace is Ever Surrounding us, even at times with a slight hint of mirth....which may not cause a laugh at the moment of the event....BUT....when we get a chance to look at it later.....

Just remember...GRACE (God's Redemption/Reconciliation At Christ's Expense).....and
LAUGH (Laughter Always Unveils God's Heart).....

My Prayer for us today....O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You for Your GRACE.  May our Hearts, like the newly plowed fields, Be Open to Your Grace as both Your Seed of Hope and Your Rain of New Life upon us.  Holy Spirit, Help us to LAUGH, even when our circumstances may seem a Mountain we are circling.  Father God, Strengthen our Trust in You, Your Grace and That even in our darkest times, You Provide for us opportunities to See Your Grace, and Draw a Smile of Hope within.  Lord Jesus, we Lift Up our Prayers in Your Holy Name....Amen/Amen....jaj
