PJP2 SIP 160309 - James 1:19-27 (ESV/emphasis & paraphrase added/jaj)....O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, we bow down in Worship and Praise before You.  Lord Jesus, Help us To Learn and Know that It Is Wise IF we Are Quick to Listen/Hear, Slow to Speak and Slow to anger;  Holy Spirit, Help us to Better Understand that the anger of man Does NOT Produce The Righteousness of God.  Father God, Guide and Help us, Therefore, to Put Away all filthiness and rampant wickedness And Receive With Meekness Your Implanted Living WORD, Which You Have Shown us Is Able To Save our Souls Because of Your Grace Shared Through Your Son.  O Lord Jesus, Empower and Encourage us to Be Doers of The WORD, And NOT Hearers only.  Holy Spirit, Forgive us when we are Hearers only, deceiving ourselves by our rationalizations.  Father God, You Have Made it Clear Through Your WORD That If anyone would be a Hearer of The WORD And NOT a Doer, they are like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror.  Lord Jesus Teach us Not to Be like he who looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like.  Holy Spirit, Inspire us and Fill us to Be like the one who Looks Into Your Perfect Law, Your Law of True Liberty, And Strengthen us to Persevere.  Father God, Strengthen us Such That we are Not Hearers of Your WORD who forgets BUT we Are Doers who ACT in Your Way and Will.  Lord Jesus, we Know by Your Example, and Your Holy Spirit's Presence Within us that You Have Blessed us in our Doing Your Way and Will.  Father God, Open our Heart and Mind to Learn That as we Follow You, we Need Also to Surrender our Whole Being to You, including what we say.  Lord Jesus, Help us to Understand that If any of us 'think' we Be of The Family of Faith, and Yet we do NOT 'bridle our tongue', we are deceiving our own Heart, and soon we will see that our Faith is made worthless by this distraction.  Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Instill Deep in our Souls Your Faith, That Faith which is Pure And Undefiled Before You.  Help us to Learn that our Faith is Best Demonstrated in Actions Which You've Taught and Prepared us for, such as: To Visit Orphans And Widows in their affliction, And To Keep oneself Unstained from the world by Your Presence and Grace.  In Your Blessed and Holy Name we Lift Up our Prayers....Amen/Amen/jaj.
