PJP2 PROLOG 160316 PROLOG Focus - John 11:25-27....

Psalm 150:1-2 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Praise The Lord!  Praise God In His Sanctuary; Praise Him In His Mighty Heavens!  Praise Him For His Mighty Deeds; Praise Him According To His Excellent Greatness!"....

PJP2 PROLOG POST 160316 - John 11:25-27 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Jesus Said to her (Martha), 'I Am The Resurrection And The LIFE.  Whoever Believes In Me, though he die, YET Shall he LIVE, And everyone who Lives And Believes In Me Shall Never die.  Do you Believe This?'  She (Martha) said to Him, 'Yes, Lord; I Believe That You Are The Christ, The Son of God, Who Is Coming Into the world.'”....

Wow....2016 is roaring by....we're just a bit over a week away from Easter 2016.

During this time of pondering our Lord Jesus' Life, Death and Resurrection, I find The Holy Spirit's Leading us to today's Passage Of the Word Select (POWS) quite salient to today's PJP2 PROLOG Entry.  Our Lord Jesus' Statement and Question to Martha (Lazarus' sister) are the very same Statement and Question He Asks us.  (Note: This is even more poignant to me today as Cindy and I work through the stages of grief following her Dad (Robert Wolfe)'s crossing-over now just three weeks ago./jaj)....

Statement: "I Am The Resurrection And The LIFE."

Question: "Do you Believe This?"

Interesting Statement to make when considering we mortals struggle to avoid the grip of death's cold hand.  We fight for The Breath of Life with every ounce of strength we have within us.  Yet in our Lord's Word (and Life Amongst us) we Find His Light That Reveals a New Path to our Way.  A Way in which IF we Will TRUST and BELIEVE in Him and His Word, then death is no longer the enemy, for our Lord Jesus Has Overcome death and its former sting.

Now please do not hear what I am not saying.  I am not saying I am to that point of embracing death as an old friend.  No, I still feel I have very much to Live for, and that God The Father still has a Mission for me here in this time.  BUT (Behold the Underlying Truth), I am Resting Confident Upon our Lord Jesus' Word and Truth.  I too Joyfully Join with Martha in Proclaiming The Good Confession - "Yes, Lord; I BELIVE That You Are The Christ, The Son of God, Who Is Coming (Once More) Into the world."....

Thus my Prayer for us today - O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, we Thank You for Your Loving Mercy and Grace towards us.  Lord Jesus, Please Send Your Comfort to those who are working their way through grief at the loss of a Loved one.  Holy Spirit, Help us and Ever Remind us of Your Truth.  Father God, Help us Grasp that You Sent Your Son to Provide us Your Way to Salvation.  Lord Jesus we Do Believe that You Are The Resurrection and The LIFE.  Holy Spirit, Embolden us to Share Your Way with those who Do Not Yet Know You.  Father God May we Ever Reflect Your Light of Love.  In Your Precious and Holy Name we Pray....Amen/Amen....jaj
