PJP2 PROLOG 160314 PROLOG Focus - John 6:35....

Psalm 43:4 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Then I Will Go to The Altar of God, To God my Exceeding Joy, And I Will Praise You with the lyre, O God, my God."....

PJP2 PROLOG POST 160314 - John 6:35 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Jesus said to them, 'I Am The Bread of LIFE; whoever Comes to Me Shall NOT hunger, And whoever Believes in Me Shall Never thirst.'"....

Four specific times (three directly) in John Chapter 6 (John 6:35; 48; 51; 58) our Lord Jesus says, "I Am The Bread of LIFE".....We've mentioned before when God repeats Himself (for example Luke 10:38-42....'Martha/Martha'....) He Is Making a Point we are Best to Pay Attention To.....SO, with that Logic in Mind.....Seems clear with our Lord Jesus stating four times in the span of 23 verses in the same Chapter of His Word, it is a salient point that He Is our Bread of LIFE.

Wow, The Holy Spirit just Pinged me with a Concept I had never considered before.....If we look back at Matthew 6:25, we find Jesus saying (during His Sermon on the mount)...."Therefore I Tell you, Do NOT be anxious about your Life, what you will eat, or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is Not Life More that food, and the body More than clothing?"  Also, in John 4:13-14 (Samaritan Woman At The Well Story), we find...."Jesus Said to her, 'Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, BUT whoever Drinks of The Water That I Will Give him Will NEVER Be Thirsty again.  The Water That I Will Give him Will Become In him A Spring of Water Welling Up to Eternal LIFE.'”

Ok, here's The Concept I am Hearing this morning - First, don't hear what I am not saying - Not saying that we, as mortals, stop eating (though I know I have some poundage to lose) - no, that's not the point at all.  What I am saying, though, is our Lord Jesus is Indeed our Last Spiritual Supper we will Ever Need.

Once we have Come To Him, Surrendered our All to Him and Accepted Him as our Lord and Savior - much like our Lord Jesus took the five loaves and two fish (John 6:5-14), He 'takes the Loaves, Gives Thanks, and Distributes' us In His Service.  Also, like The Water gushing out of the ROCK in the desert during Exodus, we too Become that Ever-Flowing Stream of Living Water out of our ROCK, our Lord Jesus Within us.  As our Focus Remains Steady on Him, our Bread of LIFE and Well of Living Water, then the distractions of this world, which could, if we allow them to seep in, become a dam of sorts to the Water Flow, or the world's 'levin/yeast' working its way through His Loaf of Holy Bread.

I know the impact of these distractions.  Praise our Lord Jesus for His Persistence and Patience to Continue to Ever Pursue us and Help us Return and Repent to once more Partake of Him as our Bread of LIFE and Living Water.

Thus my Prayer for us today would be - O Lord Jesus, we Come to You and Ask Anew that You Be our Eternal Bread of LIFE.  Holy Spirit, Open The Flow of Your Living Water that You May Wash us Clean, and quench our Thirst for You.  Father God, Help us to Ever Reflect that Your Holy Bread of LIFE and Living Water is Waiting for All, IF Only they Will Come to You and Ask.  Your Love/Light Is For Eternity - May we Always Remember....In Your Precious Name we Pray....Amen/Amen...jaj
