PJP2 PROLOG POST 160305 Numbers 14:20 (NIV/emphasis added/jaj)...."The Lord Replied, 'I Have Forgiven them, As you Asked."....

This repeating cycle by the Israelites of whining/grumbling against Moses/Aaron * Ultimately YAHWEH is witnessed time and again throughout The Holy Spirit's Inspired Word to Moses (and other POWS writers).

And, Praise God, Time and Again our Lord Forgives.  

That is NOT to say there's not consequences to all the times we slip, fall and stray from God's Path of Righteousness.  Oh, indeed we do reap what we sow.  For example in Numbers 14:21-23, God The Father lays out the 'end results' for the children of Israel who have doubted and groused about God's Guidance and Leadership of their trek across the desert.

No, there is a consequence.  BUT (Behold the Underlying Truth), His Promise and Grace is Sure and True, AND He Ever Provides us a Way to Reconcile With Him to Regain our Place on HIs Way to Life Eternal and Purposeful in His Will.

Thus for my Prayer for us today, let me employ one of our Lord Jesus' Prayers for us....Matthew 11:25-30 (NIV/emphasis added/jaj)...."At that time Jesus Said, 'I Praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, Because You Have Hidden These Things From the wise and learned, And Revealed Them To little children.

Yes, Father, For This Is What You Were Pleased To Do.

All things have been Committed To Me By My Father.  No one Knows The Son Except The Father, And No One Knows The Father Except The Son And those to whom The Son Chooses To Reveal Him.

Come To Me, all you who are weary and burdened, And I Will Give you REST.

Take My Yoke Upon you And Learn From Me, For I Am Gentle And Humble In Heart, And you Will Find REST For your Souls.

For My Yoke Is Easy And My Burden Is Light.'”....Oh Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You for Your Loving Mercy and Grace.  We Lift Up Your Word, Lord Jesus,, as our Prayer In Your Name.....Amen/Amen....jaj
