As I have been Reading in the Old Testament (Exodus, Leviticus, Deuteronomy...) I am so Very Thankful our Lord Jesus Encapsulates God The Father's Commandments and Law into two very straight-forward 'Rules of Engagement (paraphrased)' - (1) Love God Totally with All we are; (2) Love one another AS He, our Lord Jesus Loved us (For Full 'Trust But Verify' check out Matthew 22:36-40). I am Thankful that in essence we can boil these two down to One Word....LOVE....The Holy Spirit Confirms This Fact as well by His Inspired Word to John as he writes in 1 John 4:8c (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)..."Because God IS LOVE"....
This my Prayer of Thanks for us today is simply - Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You for Your Mercy, Love and Grace. Lord Jesus we Praise You and Thank You for Helping us Better Understand God The Father's Guidance to us. Holy Spirit Help us and Fill us with this Understanding. Father God, Guide us in how we are to Love. Thank You Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, for Your Model of Love clearly seen in You, Lord Jesus. May we Ever Follow in Your Living Example. Amen/Amen....jaj
